BTW, even though the NCAA takes away some of the fun of attending a football game, did anyone else enjoy the lack of "please turn to page xxx of your Johnnie game day program" as much as I did?  Also, I'll be surprised if there were more than 3,500 there yesterday.  Based on the confusion I saw from the ticket takers, they probably forgot to set up a way to count the attendance.

Why was the crowd so small.  I see they didn't list the attendance in the game stats.  It was real nice to stretch out in the stands rather than standing all game.

LBean came through with the kool-aid but we were a little afraid to drink it after a visit from the new rent-a-cop.  Little was the operative word in that sentence.

So what's the deal with the Rent-a-cop...I see you guys talking about it all the time but haven't asked...Do they try and put the clamps down on the red cups?

Duddy and junior got a few raccoons last night, they went through a whole case of Old Style.  This was no ordinary Old Style they were the ones he saved with the Chicago Cubs logo.  Anyway, them coons were treed out back by the wood shed.  When we got the first it fell through the roof of the shed.  Boy Howdy, was that thing ornery.  That thing had a gash on it side, but it still took Grizzle my hound twenty minutes to kill that S.O.B.  We figure it will take a couple of pieces of plywood to fix the shed.  Grizzle took on three more coons like a champ last night.  He was in rare form.  Tommorow we are going to go after some crows.  My buddy Hickory got this tape of an owl making all kinds of shrieks like it is fighting with a crow.  He says you just play that and every crow within ear shout will come a flying over to fight that owl.  Then you just blast away.  He took it out to his grannies property and got himself 57 crows in half an hour.  Can you believe that, 57.  It's like that time we went ice fishing up around Algona.  We must have caught  twenty fish in two hours.  What a day until we passed out and that snow storm moved in.  We got stuck in that thing for a day and a half.  It would have been great, but we didn't bring enough Old Style to drink.  I coulda killed Sidetrack when he used eight beers to boil up the bratwurst, after the fact of course, we didn't realize we would get snowed in till Monday.  Of course when Sidetrack finally remembered he had Jerky stashed after we knew we could get out of there.  Man I love Old Style. His mom though wasn't even worried when he didn't show to sunday services but was ready to tan his hide when he didn't bring any of the fish over for Sunday dinner.  Man I guess I better take Grizzle to the vet, them wounds look nasty, but you should see the coons.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

The NCAA charging everyone 8.00 has something to do with it...the weather was less than ideal...and it was only a first round playoff game, if UWEC pulls the upset, the stands will be more full for the West Region final...

One last comment for the night...it was great to meet Zip and thanks for bringing the polish sausage...fantastic, Veek did a great job on the grill.  I love getting over to the festivities, and wish I had more time to spend with the great Johnnie nation, but I think you all know that other duties cut into my time, in closing...I and the other broadcaster's appreciate the goodwill from you all...Finsleft, thanks for the article, it was great!!

ROR...not my best side...just kidding...thanks for adding the pic

Hope to see you in Iowa and hopefully we are enjoying another J's win...I have been studying the Dutch already this am because of the short week and they look tough, especially offensively where they have diversified their attack...Their QB has had a record setting year...
