Mrs. 57 told me she would go to Homecoming with me if I would accompany her on a Panama Canal cruise starting the day after Thanksgiving and somebody has to do it.

57- You heard we don't own that anymore, right?  ;D

Why KR needs malpractice insurance!

From the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in the case Sophocleous v. Larence Mem'l Hospital, No. 07-3147 (Oct. 12, 2007):

Ms. Sophocleous alleges that on February 9, 2007, she went to the
emergency room at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and was diagnosed with a
stomach flu. She returned the next day "in a great amount of pain" and was
diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. R., Doc. 1, at 3. She sued for medical
malpractice, seeking damages of $150 billion and a court order to force the
     hospital to treat her.  ...

Yes, that's $150 billion with a "b"!  :o :o

One last comment for the night...it was great to meet Zip and thanks for bringing the polish sausage...fantastic, Veek did a great job on the grill.  I love getting over to the festivities, and wish I had more time to spend with the great Johnnie nation, but I think you all know that other duties cut into my time, in closing...I and the other broadcaster's appreciate the goodwill from you all...Finsleft, thanks for the article, it was great!!

Caught the post-game show on the Bear on Sat.    Toward the end, sideline reporter extraordinaire Mike C. commented on the excellent job www.johnniefootball.com is doing  and in particular, the recent  article by our beloved mayor Finsleft.     All youse guys on johnniefootball.com are doing a fantastic job.     the word is really getting out.

Little Wiener Dog,  doesn't look like I'll make the trip to Pella.    Family matters.    Better go to plan B re koolaid.    I wonder if we should throw in a little triple sec?

Zip, I'd say the Polish are giving the Stiffy burgers a run for their money.    Thank you for that treat.

TDT, if Little Wiener Dog turns on me for using that moniker, I'm turning to you for muscle.

Bwaahaaahaa!!! You would probably be better off trying to recruit Dusty's little girls for protection! Any of the above can probably be "bought" for the price of a doll...of course, TDT will want one that blows up! ;D

p.s. it must be the cold meds talking!! ;)

Hope you are enjoying yourself Bennie...

I don't believe we have heard from the Mayor since his return from the Great White North.  Plans are in the works for Veek and Veek Sr. to stop in St. Cloud to pick you up Mayor and then pick the President up in the TC on Friday.

LBean: I made a promise to Veek that I wouldn't call him the LWD again/or regularly unless he pisses me off.

VOJ: It was a pleasure meeting you on Saturday morning.  You and the crew including Wooderson do a fantastic job each week and your work is very much appreciated.

BlueDevil Bob: I presume you've seen UWEC.  Let's have a scouting report and your thoughts on how they may matchup with the hated Bethel Royals.

Just for the Record: It is true.  Zip was sitting between me and Veek at the game and as the 2nd quarter appeared to be coming to a close with roughly 2-3 minutes left he insisted on running the ball/clock out and being satisfied with a 7-6 lead.  Myself and the wise old sage Veek insisted that is NOT how the Johnnies roll.  Way way too conservative.  So lo and behold 17 pts later and the game was over for all intents and purposes.  While Zip didn't boo Kofoed as expected, he did boo L who was dismal all game long.  Unbelievable spots of the ball all day long and I gotta say that was a real piss poor officiating crew.

Sorry TDT, I haven't. The Devils went over there this year and that was the day son of BDB's hockey squad did the Monkey Stomp on River Falls in the revenge of the picnic table game.

I do know they are ultra conservative on offense, especially if they get a lead. Probably not the second best team in the WIAC but here they are.

I gotta give TC credit. Shortly before the 61-yard bomb, he said "Halftime score, 28-6." He was one F-ed up call by F away from nailing it.

And as you saw from his [hilarious] post on Saturday, L was actually affable, whereas F just F-ing sucked at everything.
Nice day, huh?

Interesting BDB.  Who was the 2nd best squad in the WIAC this season in your valued opinion??

Justadad: It was my pleasure meeting you at the Johnnie Tailgate Party on Saturday.  The mystery has been uncovered.  Hope you got the chance to meet more of the posters and enjoyed the hospitality.
