Interesting BDB.  Who was the 2nd best squad in the WIAC this season in your valued opinion??

LaCrosse, if they hadn't put all their marbles on the Whitewater game early on.

They had that game won in the 4th, and then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with a couple monster fumbles in their own territory.

After that they pretty much melted down.

Ah, that extra $3 - I was trying to associate it with your hockey team (besides, I was busy reading your diary).

Who's scouting the Bethel - UWEC game?

One last comment for the night...it was great to meet Zip and thanks for bringing the polish sausage...fantastic, Veek did a great job on the grill.  I love getting over to the festivities, and wish I had more time to spend with the great Johnnie nation, but I think you all know that other duties cut into my time, in closing...I and the other broadcaster's appreciate the goodwill from you all...Finsleft, thanks for the article, it was great!!

Caught the post-game show on the Bear on Sat.    Toward the end, sideline reporter extraordinaire Mike C. commented on the excellent job www.johnniefootball.com is doing  and in particular, the recent  article by our beloved mayor Finsleft.     All youse guys on johnniefootball.com are doing a fantastic job.     the word is really getting out.

Little Wiener Dog,  doesn't look like I'll make the trip to Pella.    Family matters.    Better go to plan B re koolaid.    I wonder if we should throw in a little triple sec?

Zip, I'd say the Polish are giving the Stiffy burgers a run for their money.    Thank you for that treat.

TDT, if Little Wiener Dog turns on me for using that moniker, I'm turning to you for muscle.

Larry,  I'm going to let your name calling slide by this ONE time since you are new and just learning to use your keyboard.   If you slip up again, however, I will have to enlist TDT to pull a horsesh*t name out of his arse for you.  Beware and heed my advice.  Thank you.

Oh, and thanks for the kool-aid.  You did a fine job filling in for Fins even though you didn't have any good jokes or stories to tell.  If Fins had been there he and I would have been laughing about "little plums" all day long.
Go Johnnies!!!

The Johnnies have called in the heavy hitters from RPI to the IIAC board.  :P

I gotta give TC credit. Shortly before the 61-yard bomb, he said "Halftime score, 28-6." He was one F-ed up call by F away from nailing it.

As the Johnnies were breaking the huddle prior to that play, I turned to Brady and said, "Why can't we seem to score a long TD this year."

Nice recruiting job -- classy. That's just what our board needs this week -- more useless posts. The Johnnies already have that market cornered.... I'm shocked that you guys think you need the help.

See, the thing is, we're all fans and have absolutely no input as to the outcome of these games, save for some cheering and sideline heckling. As such, we like to take the "it's a game and a fun one at that" angle and enjoy ourselves on the intarwebs. Limiting the talk to numbers and matchups and stats makes being a fan less fun—especially in a forum where our contributions mean absolutely nothing come Saturday.

Yes, I'll agree that the MIACPP has a rather low signal:noise ratio, but the entertainment value offered is off the charts. The White Silly wouldn't exist (in theory) were the MIACPP as straight-laced and, frankly, dull as some of the other [unnamed] forums.

We can't constantly preach the "for the fun/love of the game" merits of DIII football to the rest of the world if the biggest online DIII community doesn't have any fun. If stats and raw football topics are all that matter, go DI.

SJU - Ethan Eid 89 yd interception return (Braden Beeson kick)
SJU - Brian Weber 51 yd pass from Alex Kofoed (Russell Gliadon kick blockd)
SJU - David Burns 89 yd interception return (Russell Gliadon kick)
SJU - Mike Patnode 61 yd run (Russell Gliadon kick)
SJU - Brian Weber 62 yd pass from Alex Kofoed (Russell Gliadon kick)
SJU - Brian Weber 46 yd pass from Alex Kofoed (Russell Gliadon kick)

Granted, I was expecting more than that (and two of those listed were on defense) but for team without a Blake Elliott-type difference maker I think that's a pretty decent total.

You're posting enough useless posts by yourself already?  A couple more won't hurt.

As a Dutch fan...I dig it, personally.

You all have added a little life to our board (generally a love fest week to week).

Sure, there has been some stuff resembling the monkey cage at the zoo, but watching a poo fight can be fun, too.

Most of the offended, for the record, are those that lost a game to a MIAC team this season...and those guys are in the majority in the IIACPP.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...the part where TDT explains how the size of one's bandwagon wins a football game.

The White Silly

Thanks Mr. Shoes...and WOW, how many receiving yards did Weber end up with on Saturday?

The White Silly

just curious..were any of those Weber T.D. catches off that "Option Play Action" pass that they used to score on Bethel with?...although I was fully rooting for Bethel to win that game...I was impressed with how they set that play up and then executed it when it counted...
