Buckwheat - as Tmerton stated I simply was responding to BDB's post.  And I didn't even use Buckwheat in my response.  You will be referred to as Buckwheat from now on, however, so get used to it and go take care of your little plums!

TDT - You're not at the bottom yet, but I think it's in sight. ;D

I was too busy washing my hands that I forgot at Saturday's game my two blue camp chairs.    I put them in their blue nylon bags and threw over the fence by the Finsleft Executive Skybox.      One of the bags is ripped at the bottom.       Not the end of the world but did anyone happen to pick them up?

Thank you.

Wooderson, no Coleman minibar on Saturday.     Open again Dec. 1.

From my weekly Johnnie sports report:

SJU Rugby Falls to Michigan in Final Four
The Saint John's University rugby team fell to the University of Michigan 23-19 in the Midwest Final on Sunday, Nov. 11.  The Johnnies defeated West Virginia 27-14 in overtime on Saturday, Nov. 10 to advance to Sunday's final. Key play throughout the game by Joe Feldmeier ('10), and a key kick by Dan Beck ('08) secured the win in the 96th minute for the Johnnies. Saint John's is coached by Tammy Cowan.

Geez, TDT, Fins posts the picture and others make the snide comments, but you're busting Veek's chops?  And he's the one giving you a ride?  You're not the President for nothin'. :D

+k to all the Johnnie posting heroes for the Purple Hearts you earned over on the IIAC board.

Now let's get down to serious talk - do they have any good microbrews in Iowa? 8)

As far as I know DM has the best, Court Avenue Brewery is pretty good, got a killer Jack Daniels Sirloin.

Bean;  I believe I may have seen them as I was departing campus at 4:00pm... didn't bother to look closer than a passing glance.  Sorry brother..... maybe Leroy has them.   :o

Those chairs are a lot like a coed, hard to get in the sack but a lot easier to handle once they are there.  Honest heard that in Collegville last Saturday.  Even my wife chuckled.

In honor of the Iowa caucuses (which will have to become the new source of entertainment for Iowans after the Central loss on Sat and football is gone), I bring you guidelines on how to think like a good Republican/Democrat

Does anybody know how to vote for the Gagliardi except through D3 football? Whenever I try: ballot, combined fan vote or cast their ballot I get blasted right off the internet. I am using Safari and never had a problem with any other D3 link.  >:(

I'll see what I can find out about this, 57, and get back to you.

Thanks Pat. It may be my computer. iMacs sometimes don't like PC (no pun intended) stuff :'(

Well, Ryan is a Mac fan but I don't know what he tested this on -- it's a new concept for us.

It looks like D3Football.com is the only place to cast a fan vote.  I was able to cast mine just fine--the first one, that is.  My second vote didn't go through quite so well.

It seems odd that D3Football.com was chosen as the ONLY place for fan voting, but I guess they do get the vast majority of D3-related football traffic (vs. the NCAA site or somewhere unrelated like Jostens.com) and having the voting somewhere like gojohnnies.com might skew the results slightly...

You only get one vote, so that may have something to do with your second vote.

I wouldn't assume we were chosen as the only place for fan voting. Perhaps there are other sites that you haven't come across, or other sites that were asked to participate but aren't as committed to posting it as quickly or as prominently as we are. We weren't told we were being given exclusivity in this area, though the organizing committee came to us early in the process and asked if we would support it.

But yes, we certainly get the related traffic!

My thanks to my buddy BlueDevilBob for reminding the crew of the infamous incident on Hwy 29.  Glad Wonka isn't here for further details.

Oh, contrare Mr. President.

Wonka remembers ALL too well the groans, complaints and squirming in the front seat until the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the interstate for a nasty deucer as other Vikings fans zoomed by during the wee hours of the morning. My only regret is not having Dinny snap a picture of the brown stuff mid-delivery -- I would have absolutely OWNED post patterns and TDT with that type of visual evidence.

Boy, is it good to be back...and just in times to give thanks for another SJU loss to Bethel! I trust Mr. President still has the Wonka signed pylon sitting in his apartment to commemorate the occasion.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.
