Who is going to sell tickets now, Nick Punto?

That's the position he's best at. Just make sure he doesn't get issued a uniform.

Hilarious!  :D

In Des Moines now, nice front page story on Connell.  Quoted as saying "we're not intimidated by the Johnnies...but they are a very good team."

Can't wait for the game.  Can I crash the soiree in Des Moines tonight in sweat pants?

OAS,

My experience shows that when someone says the are "not intimidated by" it means it's in their head and they are for sure intimidated.

Any chance you could change your prediction?  I am intimidated by that.

As long as they are not blue.  Red, however, would be a good choice.

I'm guessing that the reporter asked Tim something to prompt that response. I'm sure that he didn't just pull that out of nowhere and I doubt we're intimidated whatsoever. If you haven't noticed, we have a pretty salty squad ourselves and are finally getting healthy so I don't think Tim is shaking in his Nikes about the Johnnies. What's a Johnnie by the way?

D1HawkD3CUI--

I picked the Johnnies to win.  If you knew my history, you would be very happy about that!!

Pat,

I think the confusion about being able to post from a Blackberry has to do with how the pages are displayed.  I had a Treo and the pages would load and show as they would on the computer.  With my Blackberry the PP section has a completely diffferent look, and I was under the same impression that we could not post from Blackberries.  After KCDutch's message earlier today I went in to the main PP page and you can login, but you have to know to scroll all the way through to the bottom of page past all the other sports.

OAS-- there are times you can be such an "Anti-Johnnies Whore"......I understand your plan however, get schools to think you like them and provide you with free travel to "cover" your new favorite team  ::)

Thanks! If you're picks are like the Madden curse we'll take it! Thanks for supporting the Dutch! I think the last time you were in Pella it was for the Wartburg game in 05?

I don't know if this happens every where in Iowa but the last couple of times I have been out there, I have stopped for gas and about the time I get the first gallon of 87 octane stuff pumped, I realize that the 89 octane stuff is cheaper.  Go figure.  It is probably somehow Dick Cheney's fault but I haven't figured it out yet.  Anyway, if your motto is like mine, ABC (always buy cheapest) beware.  The difference could buy half a Dutch letter.

Cheney's fault without a doubt. Yeah that goes for the whole state basically.

Bored at the office if you can't tell, yes I had to work today. Gotta love the corporate world! The weather is looking good for tomorrow, a balmy 46 for a high and sunny by the afternoon. Good day for football

St. Paul Central?

You can post from a piece of fruit? That's awesome. I'll have to try that.

Which is a worse game to watch right now? Stephen-Argyle win No. 67 in a row, or a bad game between Nebraska and Colorado?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and safe travels to those heading down to Pella.

Go Johnnies!
