Stomped.  That really sucks.

For any players that may be looking here: sorry that you went out, seniors, on such a downer.  For the others, come back with energy and execution.  Looking forward to more Johnnie football next year.

See the rest of you later this week.  Ciao.

Well, now that the interruption that was football season is over, back to the real purpose for this site, women, hunting, fishing and beer!

Congrats to the Central Dutch....scores comparison are worthless for next weeks game...it will not follow any pregame analysis or preconceived script...Hoping for a good game here....not sure whose band wagon I'm going to jump on for this one.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

You gotta love those SJU announcers...they are all heart.

Congrats to the St. Johns seniors for a great career, and Kofed for hitting 100 TD passes. No reason to think the Johnnies won't be back next year.

Johnnie fans. It has been a great week of trash talking and getting our page numbers up. Needless to say, nobody on either side thought the game was going to turn out the way it did. You just happened to run into a very motivated and fired up Dutch squad. Congrats to your seniors.

Caught the 2nd half of the Bethel game today in Arden Hills.  The game seemed to be developing much like the Johnnie-Royal game had a couple weeks ago.  Royals weren't having much success in the 2nd half moving the ball, while the Blu-Golds were running the ball with good success but didn't seem to have quite enough to get the ball in field goal range.  The Bethel O-Line came up big in their last possession and got Wetzell, Flannery and Wahl into the Eau Claire secondary.

Much better turnout than I expected as both stands were quite full with a few hundred lining the field--perhaps the bigger stands requested by the johnnies might be worthwhile for more than 1 game a year.

I took a five minute break during the game to make the girls breakfast.  I didn't bother asking for an update when I got back.

Congrats to Bethel -

You guys dodged a bullet on the safety, when UWEC pulled to within 14-12... But then your D stepped up and forced a punt on the next series, taking away any chance we had at regaining momentum...

Your offense, and the o-line, in particular, then stepped up with a championship-calibre drive the next series, driving down field and putting it in the end zone for a 21-12 lead...

Good luck the rest of the way...

Well said.  The banter leading up to the game has been a lot of fun.  Central deserved the win and looks strong going forward.  Good luck to both Central and Bethel.  I plan on listening to the game next week.

Good job Central, Congrats you were the team today.  Best wishes through the playoffs, I for one cannot cheer for Brothel this coming weekend.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Hey good to see all the MIAC PP people today.  Thanks for making the trip to Pella.  Sorry didn't get to the Stifyfest as we got there later and we in our family have been fighting colds and flu.  Who would have thought that it would be a 30 point win.  Not me.  I felt we could win but never thought that the Dutch D would take care of your O and keep an egg on the board for most of the game.  Nice to meet OAS and see the other posters.  TDT had the son all lined up for that pic.  He was going to have you in it but didn't see you after the game.

MONKEY STOMP!!!

Congrats to SJU on a great season. I wasnt expecting the game to turn out the way it was but am definitely excited about the outcome!

The banter was fun, glad you guys were all wrong. Another MIAC foe to fall this coming week.

What is the Winning With No by Gagliardi that says all the players play especially in a blowout. SJU only scored because we had our subs in but you guys had your starters in. Classy. So much for that nonsense.
