Attn Mayor: The 1st annual JohnnieFootball.com organizational meetings will be held at a date TBD following Christmas at your mancave.  There will be discussion, critiques, analysis, brainstorming, and copious amounts of Hamm's beer.
Sweet! I'll let my cleaning lady know. For the day after. I think some venison brats and some fresh fish to accompany the Hamm's will be in order. Hopefully, I'll have my new bar done by then.

From a Mount/OAC perspective....the OAC as a rule supports Mount fairly well through the play-offs.  I think it's a big brother/little brother type relationship to a degree.

Hey Duff......you know once SJU is out you secretly cheer for Mount!   ;D

I am truly sorry the potential of seeing the Johnnie faithful in Ohio in a few weeks is gone.

I'll second that!  I've even got a MUC hat courtesy of RaiderGuy ;D

I do, I do.  I actually cheer for them unless SJU happens to be playing them!

Speaking of Hamm's, did everyone catch the article in the STRIB about the new book out on  Minnesota Breweries !
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Fins - if I'm invited I will even agree to do the grilling.  Or TDT could since he will only be consuming a couple of beers if last Friday was any indication.  ;D
Go Johnnies!!!

Of course you are invited-wouldn't be the same without you.
If Buckwheat pedals up with training wheels, we'll just make him fetch our beers and light our cigars.

Adding insult to the loss, NWA and others just cut DC to MSP fares to $118 RT for this weekend. Could have been a great trip.

Just shows how much SJU lost by dropping the game to Bethel. Had they won that it would have been the softer side of the bracket with a possible home game this weekend.

Alas as Dandy Don used to say: ... "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts ... "

I haven't had time yet to read all of the posts from the last few days but congrats to Central for a well played game and big win on Saturday.  They were clicking on all cylinders and the J's obviously were not.  I left the game feeling that the stats would obviously be closer than the score, and indeed they were, but when a big play was needed Central stepped up their game and came through time after time with critical plays when they needed them.

To all of the SJU seniors, thanks for another great season.

Thanks, JR, for another great year of tailgating.  It gets bigger and better every year and I'm happy to be a part of it.

ROR - did you or Ryan misplace a black glove?  I found one in the back of my truck and I was going to list it on Ebay but I thought I should first ask you.

TDT - even though you can't party with the likes of myself, OAS, or ROR Jr, it was still a pleasure making the trek with you this weekend.  Visions of you and Veek Sr spooning will forever be in my mind.

After nearly 48 hours of mourning, Veek finally has me laughing... I haven't had the balls up to this point to take a peek.

If Mighty Royal gets to Iowa early for this weekend's game, he can do a meet and greet with his hero, Chuck Norris.

Huckabee bringing Chuck Norris to CNN/YouTube debate

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appears to be milking cult hero Chuck Norris' endorsement for all it's worth.

The former Arkansas governor told reporters on a conference call Monday morning that the "Walker Texas Ranger" star will be joining him at the CNN/YouTube debate this Wednesday night.

"[He] will be part of that experience," Huckabee said. "So it will be fun and hopefully very substantive."

Norris officially endorsed Huckabee last October, hailing him as a "respected and fearless leader" and one who's "not afraid to stand up for a Creator and against secularist beliefs."

Since then Norris has penned a fundraising e-mail on Huckabee's behalf, and even appears alongside the candidate in a television ad running in Iowa.

"When Chuck Norris does a push up, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the world down," Huckabee, quoting the now famous "Chuck Norris Facts," says in the ad.

Wait so TDT, what's your prediction for the game? It sounds like you are picking central so that is a good sign for us!

Despite TDT blowing those two high-profile picks, he's still 10-2 on the season ;)
Nice day, huh?

Hamm's is good...Hamm's Special Light isn't the worst thing in the world when someone gives it to you...Bethel is bad...and count me in the camp of not cheering them on in the playoffs.
Heaven isn't too far away,
Closer to it every day

It's pretty easy to have a good prediction record when you predict an sju victory every week since they rarely let down.
