From a Mount/OAC perspective....the OAC as a rule supports Mount fairly well through the play-offs.  I think it's a big brother/little brother type relationship to a degree.
I consider Bethel to be the equivalent of a little sister and as a big brother I want to look out for her and protect her.  Consequently it is my duty to root for Central to spare her the humilation and pain of getting the everloving crap kicked out of her in two weeks by the MUC. ;D

retagent

repete - Maybe the reason for the drop in fares is BECAUSE SJU lost. If they were playing, NWA could sell all seats at higher fares to fans wanting to get to Minny for the game. The old law of supply and demand don't you think?

I love it. Thats hilarious. Very entertaining post and logic/justifications SB71.

1. I think Freebird has me confused with OAS.

2. Veek isn't telling the MIACPP the entire truth here.  Let it be known that TDT had to save Veek from getting destroyed in a fight with a Pella townie.  Among the 131 beers (no joke, our Mayor woulda been mighty impressed) by the bottle available that I tried were Old Style, Hamm's, Fat Tire, a Cider, and several of Veek's "good idea" shots.  They had a deal where if you drank 80 different brews they gave you a special mug for the achievement.  Veek said he would drink 30 on Friday night and come back on Saturday for the other 50.  Needless to say the Little Wiener Dog had his tail tucked between his legs on Saturday morning while sipping on bottled water and munching saltine crackers.

3. A part of the Prez wants Brothel (I like the sound of that Chewey) to win on Saturday so they can see how REAL playoff football is played year in and year out.  Great a couple of playoff wins against the little sisters of the poor Con-Wisconsin and a win over a team playing its 6th string quarterback.  A trip to Alliance would be good for these Royals.  A little dose of reality on how far they have to go to compete with the Big Boys on an annual basis.  Oh the carnage! The agony would bring such a smile to my face!!

4. Chewey when will you and Brice be releasing your 2007-2008 rankings of the Top Bookstores in Div. 3?  Just an FYI your girl Red Hot Bennie was NOT at the Stiftungsfestivities tailgate party on Saturday.  Something about a long road trip, cold weather, and no more Dirty Deuce in cardinal and blue...

Johnnie Red

Ozjohnnie, my daughter will be staying in Wollongong spring semester. Looks like I might be heading to Australia the week of March 23. Probably be flying into Sydney. I will be in touch with you for some advice on the places to see in Aussie land.

Tmerton, that would be great to have ESPN travel to Collegeville next fall for Game Day. If they can go to Williams, they surely can make the trip to SJU. Hopefully a few of us can start working on this to make it happen in `08.

Retagent,

No doubt. The DC branch of Johnnie Nation was ready to roll.

JR,

Wollongong is about an hour south of the Sydney airport. Easy drive. Just watch out for the beet root on your burgers .... and there's no way to make Vegemite taste good.

wildcat11

TDT,

Can you please give all of us the scoop on when John Jr. will start moving his stuff into his old man's office for the impending take over?  Looking forward to the Gagliardi "Version 2.0" era of Johnnie football.

Willy Wonka

You know what I love? SJU posters getting pissed at non-SJU posters (RE: Bethel backers) every year for not supporting the MIAC (RE: Johnnies) in the postseason...and now coming up with a variety of excuses to do the same thing now that the roles are reversed.

TDT, why haven't you answered my calls now that Wonka is baaaaaaaaaaaack in business and the Johnnies are sitting home on their butts while your hated Royals are still dancing?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Hey I think that Coach G will be there till his death and should be if he wants to be.  An 81 year old man that can still do what he does deserves to decide when enough is enough.  He still can field a good team and by the score the game was a blow out but if the Johnnies could have come down with a few of the passes into the endzone the score would have been much closer.  I have the utmost respect for Coach G and what he has accomplished.  He is truly a prize for the Johnnies and I am sure they will hang on to him as long as he wants to stay.

Give me an example of this.

Wonka-I pretty sure that no SJU poster was ever worried that other MIAC posters, including Bethel posters, were not supporting SJU. You may be thinking of your friend Pat.

Touchdown Tommy

Ha don't take Wonka's bait fellas.  He is back to his old tricks of stirring up sh!t and hoping something sticks on the wall.  SJU has never give 2 sh!ts and #$%^ if anyone else in the conference "cheers" for them.

Anyone know when the last time a team not named SJU from the MIAC went deep into the playoffs? i.e. West Region Final and beyond...

Hey 11: Maybe if you Cat backers open your wallets you can convince LOCEY to leave Oregon State and come back to McMinnville and save your program which has fallen into disarray since the new sheriff came to town?  Your Kitty Cats have plenty to worry about including but not limited to reaching the playoffs.  How did your furniture shopping go the last several weeks?

ESPN doesn't have current plans to attend another D3 game anytime soon. However you never know depending on how the D1 season develops.

Hah -- that would be the first time anyone's accused me and Willy Wonka of being friendly. :)

freebird - Do you know how/when ESPN decided to hold GameDay at Williams two weeks ago?
