Touchdown Tommy

Oz: Um...that would be Willy Wonka around 3am CST.

TC: You were in Pella on Saturday? Where?  I never saw your punk a$$.  Was it worth the drive?

Chewey: You and Brice have been drinking the "kool aid".

Flash: Were you drunk at 10pm or was that your alter ego?  Man that was profound and right on the money.

Well, copy editors and sports editors are never up late, so it can't be Pat. Must be ROR.

Pat Coleman

I am up pretty late, true, though I am working 9-5 these days. But it comes from further west than me. :)

Mr.Shoes

Are you trying to say that Frosty Westering is still wreaking havoc in DIII?

Wait, I'm still up and west of you...
Nice day, huh?

Well, I'm from even further west (or east, depending on how you want to travel) and I'm still up.  It's a bit unfair to label me a 3am smiter, though.  And I tend to use my smites for those named below.

And as a quick note on a double post:

I see the Twins are in confirmed discussions with the Yanks (among other rumored teams) about Santana.  Depressing.  I really wanted to see him in the new ballpark. (I may not get back at the right time of year for Johnnie games, but I make most Twinkie seasons.)  I really wanted to see him and Liriano have killer seasons fighting each other for the Cy Young.

This whole weekend is a letdown.  The wife left me.  The kids fell in a well.  The dog won't talk to me.  And the truck is outta gas.  Sounds like my life is a country song.

Doesn't sound like a total loss...

You gotta love those SJU announcers...they are all heart.

Criswyly...what do you mean by that?

VOJ
It pretty much means what it says....It is intended to be a complement...You guys have a ton of passion in calling the Johnnie games...Even when it hurts.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

BTW
You also happen to be one of the most professional at the d3 level that I've ever heard.

And that's coming from someone who has worked in broadcasting for 25+

Thanks for the kind words...I have taken some heat for broadcasting "for Johnnies Fans", but those are who mostly listen...I know they were in pain on Saturday and so was I...I do have to say I have a great crew to work with, they do a great job explaining what is happening on the field, and our support staff at the station is very good too...

cobbernation

Just a sidenote for the playoff picture...Looks like the Yankees are going to nab Johan Santana from the Twins.  How are the twins going to fill the stadium when the most popular and best pitcher are gone???!!??!?!?
