Doesn't this have all the makings of the most boring Saturday in quite some time?

Well, we've got a big snowstorm on the way this afternoon, I am picking up 16 glorious gallons of beer around noon, and a bunch of friends are coming over this evening.  Sounds like an exciting day to me ;)

Sounds like a great plan there Duff. How long is the storm going to last? I am coming back for a funeral and landing Sunday night.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

stanbob - it's supposed to end Sunday morning so you should be ok Sunday night if things don't get backed up too much.

stanbob

Thanks BDB.  I appreciate that, I have some travelling to do after I land as well so hopefully the roads will be taken care of by then.  How is the new house treating you?

Well, I am hoping we don't get many "no-shows" due to the storm, or we may be drinking Coors Light for a few days ;)

Not that it matters but will you be;

A.) playing cards

B.) watching the Big 12 Championship

                          or

C.) making one last grasp to relive the glory of 2002?

D.) none of the above?

Dusty,

Probably a bit of "A".

Also, playing Wii and Beerpong.

Well if I get stranded in my travel plans maybe I can sneak over and help you get rid of the 16 gallons.

Kickoff was pushed back to 1pm (according to one of the IIAC radio guys).  I guess they're dealing with the weather.

They have to clear the field in Pella.  Game was pushed back an hour...If the game were at Bethel today, clearing the field wouldn't do much good the way the snow is coming down right now...

criswyly

So does the weather even the playing field on this one?

We'll just say that in the Dutch corner...we're nervous that the passing game could be limited.  We've been nervous as all Hell all season with the outcomes of most of our games, though.  Hopefully the Dutch's ability to "find a way" can win out again.

Any possibility of a cancellation?
I'm still waiting to hear.  The have lights now, I hear...so time shouldn't be a factor.
