Congrats, Bethel.  I'm very impressed with the win against Central.

Somebody send a medical team to DuffMan's house right away!

LOL flash almost spit my beer all over the screen on that one.

I just surmised somebody finally figured out that "royalssuck" was Duff's password ... and posted under his name.

And you thought it was cold today, the snowball in hell will be in no danger of melting next week.
I don't think many people have any illusions that bu will win next week, in fact I think we'll get routed,  but we're proud of our team, and we're still cheering them on in december. how 'bout you stanbob?

still behind my team, when was the last time you could say that in december, if you say last year and before stfu.

Maybe he had the majority share of that Coors keg and wasn't quite aware of what he was posting?  ???

The last time Mount lost in the playoffs it was a steady dose of running that won the game for Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Today Mount held SJF to 22 yards on 30 rushes. The thirty first rush went for 30 yards as time expired. No one has successfully rushed on MUC this year.

70's;  You lookin' to pick a fight already?  Give these boys their due and let them enjoy their West Region Championship.  The cyber war commences tomorrow.

In Farley's words;  Indeed;  "They were who we thought they were and we let'em off the hook!"

The following three plays change the complexion of the football season in the MIAC and the West Region....Bethel gets all three to go in their favor and look what happens.  I would venture a guess that any one of the three go different and Bethel is not traveling to Alliance next week.  Before all the Bethel folks jump this post, keep in mind a loss to SJU--would have kept you out of the playoffs.  How many of you can honestly say that prior to the score by Flannery with 24 seconds to go you didn't feel your season was done?

--Russell Gliadon kickoff 58 yards to the BU-FB12, out-of-bounds, PENALTY
SJU illegal procedure 5 yards to the SJU25, NO PLAY.  (Bethel forcing SJU to rekick was a strange call considering that to that point Bethel had the ball for 4:30 minutes in the first quarter and had 18 yards of offense)

--Russell Gliadon kickoff 61 yards to the BU-FB14, Tim Cornish return 86 yards
to the SJU0, TOUCHDOWN, clock 14:37.  (Next play makes Steve Johnson look like a genius)

--B 2-8  B42   Ben Wetzell pass complete to Aaron Bernstett for 36 yards to the SJU22,
1ST DOWN BU-FB (Sam Gervais), PENALTY SJU face mask 5 yards to the SJU17.  (THE PLAY on the last drive and probably the PLAY of the year for Bethel.  Without this completion, Bethel doesn't get close enough to score......next play would have been 3rd and long with an incompletion)

Congratulations on the West Region Championship.

While I more or less agree, SJU blew chow when it had the chance to keep Bethel home.  I gots to gives Bethel its due.  I think we saw just how inconsistent the J's were this season, especially the disaster at Central.  I have to accept it:   The J's did not deserve to be any further than where they wound up.  A loss at Carleton, and SJU would have been pretty close to being finished too.  The inconsistent play of AK-11, the O-line sucking wind in important games, the lack of a respectable running attack in many games, the D-line getting pushed around, except Gunderson, less than stellar d-backs......It was a down year for SJU when it should have been a high year, especially given that our QB was a 4 year starter.  Many times, he did not play like a four year starter and our running backs were not nearly as good as we've been used to having.  Good job Bethel.  Again, you had better find a way to pass a lot more often to keep MUC guessing or you're toast.

Bethel???

Geeesh.....you SJU fans screw up ONE WEEK and look what we have!

Frickin' BETHEL is in the semi's.........are you kidding me????????   ;D

Any Johnnie fans that want to hate on Bethel next week you are welcome to come on over and crash at my place.  The boss of this place is Catholic, and seems to cheer for any college team that is a bingo-playin', God fearin' (unless he happens to be not looking), WINE DRINKING Catholic school.   ;D

Bad news Bethel fans.......she HATES hypocritical, holy rollerin', say AMEN as they smack you in the crotch, colleges.   ;D  Find you own way to Ohio, and make sure you tell the cab to leave the car running, and the door open.   ;)
