Last week I stated on this board that I felt all the Bethel folks wanted was a little acknowledgment for pooping in the big boy toilet by winning a couple of games in the playoffs.  For those of you that have not ventured over to the OAC Board recently to see the latest antics.....read the following passages from some of our favorites then go check out the responses from the MUC faithful....quite entertaining.

The bird's statement also proved that they are just begging for someone to pat them on the back....I love it, "Kick our a$$es before you write us off" LOL

Redtooth - I admit, those are some sad quotes.  Please note they do not carry the sentiment of MOST BU supporter, nor of ANY of the players & coaches.

And may I suggest that when pooping, instead of using merely toilet paper, consider using adult wet wipes (wipies) in addition... try it and you'll never go back to plain old dry toilet paper.  The method is: wipe, wipie, wipe.  Take the Wipie Challenge today.  If you got poop on your kitchen table, would you clean it with a dry paper towel?  Then why would you just use dry tp on your bottom?

I also agree about the foolish posts, but can't confirm on the wipes until I've tried that .  I can understand RoyalAchilles being all fired up for this game since he has a son in the team, though.  Good on him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't RoyalAchilies have a son on the current Bethel squad? If he is a Bethel football dad, isn't there  a pretty good chance that dad and son speak on the phone on a regular basis and share the same sentiment? It may just be me, but the old saying that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" may ring true here. Let me qualify this by saying I have never met RA, just reading his posts I believe he is a Bethel football dad.

In some cases, the apple falls and rolls.  Long before the LV advertising campaign, #2 son took the position that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.   I get all my info on the Johnnies here.

I think too much is being read into the statements of folks who are pumped up for a very big game.  I may not root for the Royals but I suggest we cut them some slack.  I happen to think Bethel will do okay (my last place position in the postseason pick 'ems obviously establishes my qualifications to so opine).

After a quick review of the most recent Bethel backer posts, I have come to the conclusion that Bethel backers are probably cool guys that are supportable with the exception of Tweety Bird

Are any Bethel fans making the trek to Alliance?  I mean COME ON.....it's the semi's baby!!!!  Bethel fans should be coming by plane, train, and automobile.  I know Johnnie fans would be front and center this Saturday. 

No faith?  Think it's been a "good season" and there is nothing to prove at this point?  Don't really think the Bethel squad can actually make a game of it?

I will post tomorrow where we are having a pregame warmup tomorrow night.  It's going to be in Alliance (sorry...I was out-voted), and we would love all Bethel fans to show up walking proud, and shaking hands.

My karma's managed to recover a few points over the last few days, so I'll take an attempt at livening things up.  As long as I don't go getting on the nerves of some rabid Dutch fans I may survive.

A Royal and Raider go hunting.  The Royal slips while chewing some gum and smacks his head on a rock.  The Raider in near panic whips out his cell phone and calls 911.  "Help! Help! I think my friend is dead!" he screams.  The operator calmly asks, "Can you make sure he's dead, sir?"  So the Raider walks over and shoots him

Skunks-
Bethel has at least 1, possibly 2 chartered flights going at 180 folks each.  Several charter buses going as well, so you can expect a decent turn-out.  The campus is absolutely bonkers for this team, as well they should be.  Having said that, I can't attend and I'm not sure about some of the other posters who are members of the Official Unofficial Royals Has-Been Club.  BUguy and oldbethel27 may be going, but I don't know.
