Did you cats just hear Sansevere and Barnard gushing about Bethel and Mount Union's Dynasty?  I was listening here on the 'net and was pretty surprised they mentioned/cared about the game tomorrow.  Also, FYI: OAS is picking Bethel.  I know, I know big surprise.

A solid .500 record so far, with 2 home games this weekend.

Going back a few posts, yes it was Kenyon I was trying to think of for swimming.  Thanks for helping me out.  I was not aware of the wrestling dynasty, just the ones in the sports I follow (football, hockey, lacrosse) and one that is often thrown out in these types of arguments (Kenyon swimming).  On a side note, of these sports here, I would say that having watched DI and DIII levels of football, hockey, and lacrosse, I would say that the athletes playing DIII hockey are closest in talent to their DI brothers.  I think it may be a combination of a smaller field of athletes to choose from and a more extensive developmental program than the other sports.  Just my impressions.

On to this week's game...I'm glad to see so many Bethel fans planning to make the trip.  All my posturing aside, I do think it will be a good game; I just don't think it will be as close a game as Bethel hopes.  My thought is that Mount takes two series before they score, go up comfortably by halftime, and then adds a couple "garbage time" scores late in the game.  I do enjoy reading the enthusiasm from Bethel's fans (and other fans Mount plays for that matter), and I'm glad they have such faith and hope in their team.  The time when it begins to bother me is when they get upset about Mount Union fans not giving them respect when for the most part, both sets of fans are saying basically the same thing about their respective teams.  That's how I see it at least.  Both fans are saying that their running offense will be able to move the ball, and both teams are saying their defense will be able to stop the ball.
