Silly I like you to.  When others might not beable to make sense of your posts.  I read them loud and clear.  I like TDT to.  He seems like a real genuine guy.  My karma is plumeting as we speak.  If I do not watch out I will be in a race with the both of you for how low can it go. 

This weekend I will be doing 3 things myself.  Decorating my christmas tree, watching vision quest twice over, and filling my stapler with new staples for monday morning.  I might even shampoo my carpet. 

My prediction is Bethel 45 MUC 21

Geez Oz, I feel like I've just gotten to attend a tutorial in economics. There's more to you, and others on this board, than meets the eye at first glance. Also, DF2004, I think you are correct sir! regarding your look into the future of higher education costs.

The wife and I are just about to go out for dinner, but before we do I would like to wish Bethel good luck in playing their best game.  I don't think they have a snowball's chance, but MUC can't control the effort that Bethel put in.

I look forward to waking in the morning and reading that Bethel played the best game they could.

With the tremendous challenge facing Bethel today, I was reminded of a couple favorite quotes.  The first is from Friday Night Lights, but could just as easily have been from one of Coach Johnson's pre-game talks.

It's -11*F in central Minnesota currently. It would be nice to be hosting a National Semi-Final game with a South Region team today, but maybe next year ;D

I remember in 2002 when Duffman & crew hosted Coe in a 2nd Round game it wa +17*F and the windchill brought it to Zero.

Getting ready to head out to the brunch and game.

MUC respects Bethel and has worked extremely hard in practice this week (especially kickoff coverage ;D). Every team should do what they do best and for Bethel that is run the ball and control the clock. I think it will take a perfect effort on Bethel's part and a subpar effort from Mount for Bethel to win but that's' why we play the games. This year alone, college football is littered with heavily favored teams getting their lunch handed to them. It's what makes the games so much fun. All the banter here just that, games are won or lost by the efforts of committed young men on Saturdays such as this one.

Chip Scoggins reports this morning from the STrib that MUC lists 17 players from Florida.... I now have a new understanding for MUC football.

And a bit of concern for the future of D3.  Is this the direction STO is trying to go?  I would hate to see SJU have to start actually recruiting other parts of the country.  The more teams do that, it would seem that the more they will have to take in marginal or even unqualified students?  The local aspects of SJU has been one of the endearing features of the program. :(

Anyway, on a positive note, 1st choice Bethel actually wins, (that would be cool), 2nd puts in a respectable showing (good for the MIAC) or 3rd, gets their A$$ handed to them (Good for Duff and the others who have played against Bethel in the past) ;D

Not doubting you.  Maybe I just remember him looking smaller because I was comparing him to the big dudes up front that I was dealing with. :-\
