How many non-seniors are on the field for Bethel.  I played my HS football in Northfield and graduated in '97.  I'm convinced one of the things that made us so good was all of the extra practice we got against better and better competition.  Also, the extra practices themselves helped a ton!  Bethel, even the non-starting young-uns, will definitely improve through this experience, as they have simply gotten more days to pin it on and play some top level competition!
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

Bethel graduates Wetzell and Einerson, in addition to Davis, Carr, and a handful of other starters.  Might the cupboard be relatively empty next year, aside from Flannery?
There will be plenty of unknown commodities in the starting 22 for Bethel next year.

Ha why attempt a FG there down 41 pts.  What a joke.  Glad the Monkey Stompout remains.  Hope this opens the eyes of the delusional posters.  Brothel has a long way to go to compete on the Nat'l Scene let alone win on a regular basis.  Thanks for playing.

AO just stop.  You don't make sense.  Are you trying to say that Brothel competes on the Nat'l Scene on a REGULAR basis?  Man I hate to get into spats with you, because there is no reasoning with you.  You claim to be this "unbiased" observer from Northwestern yet you constantly slobber all over Brothel U with no regard for REALITY.  Nobody is claiming or DID claim that SJU would beat MUCk this year.  Call it experience and the knowledge of what constitutes a good vintage of the Johnnies versus a Great SJU team (ala 2000 and 2003).

"Here was a whirling-dervish kind of touchdown which was quite impressive even though it was only 6 yards long."  - Great line by the anouncer!

re-read what tdt wrote about bethel not being able to compete on the national scene and replace Bethel with St. John's.  that's all I'm saying.

I wasn't aware that Northwestern College allowed, let alone encouraged, recreational crack cocaine use.  How does TDT saying that Bethel is not a legitimate contender on the national level (let's face it, there is, at most, 3 of those this year) imply that St. John's is?  No one is saying that.

This is not a shot at Bethel--they've taken a huge step in the right direction this year.  Now they've seen what the top team looks like.

how is anybody going to compete with Mount this year.  Bethel might have been able to beat a whitewater or Mary Hardin-Baylor.  How is this not competing on a national scene?  St. John's was right up with Bethel this year, save for 3 points at Bethel and a tough game down in Pella.  Out of 220 teams Bethel has done quite well.

The phone number for Stagg Bowl tickets just went on the screen too..........

I was just about to say it looks like Mount is done for today, unless Bethel gives them one.

This is officially worse than any SJU losss.....

I wish AO's posts would start with a disclaimer that he is from Northwestern.

pick-6 MUC.  55-0.  Monkey-stompers - what level does this reach now?

Bethel held the ball for almost 11 minutes in the 3rd quarter to 4 for MUC - so obviously MUC scores 7 to BU's 0.  How frustrating must that be.

But now they've seen the Mount and now they know - I expect this experience to be a positive one for the Royals overall.

I don't see it... WW or UMHB will give MUC a better game

Who knows, maybe he has some kickass grandson that just finished up his high school career at some suburban school and will be starting at QB for Bethel next year...
