Why didn't they come up with this when I was in school at SJU?

Hey Duffman--- great story link.  Were you around the year Pantzke was in the Chipotle burrito contest in the TC and lost to David Dixon from the Vikes?  Didn't he eat like 4 1/2 burritos?  I think he could have eaten this pizza by himself.

Matter of fact-- if anyone on this board runs into Pantzke, tell him I will pay for the pizza if he can it all by himself......sorta like the Ol' 96er from the Great Outdoors. ;D ;D

The White Silly

Ritz72,

Not that you care about anything I might type in this text, BUT...I want you to know, coming from THE white silly...your most recent post made me laugh harder (other than most of my own posts as I typically sit at my Dell desktop giggling like a little school girl at everything that comes from my confused, unfocused, and silly dimented mind) than anything I've ever read on here...might I recall the words of the best writer in the past 3 centuries, C.S. Lewis, "I am far too easily pleased"....this sums up my life...I am a dunce that laughs frequently at myself (daily I might add)...but, nonetheless, it proves to be a very nice quality way of life for THE white silly.........RITZ,  your most recent post was nothing short of PHENOMENAL...may i suggest we add "Rick Fenney" or "Alex Cole" or "Scott Stahoviak" to your undeniably AWESOME list?...your thoughts?

How about the coach from Friday Night Lights.  Is his name on the list?

What's the latest on the UST job and its potential candidates?

Saw something in the Star Trib where Fritz said they were hoping for a January hire.  Are they already down to some semblance of a finalists list?  Who might be on that list?
For those of you interested in what they are looking for here is the link to the job posting.  Was still active last night.

My sources deep within UST  ::)  tell me the top 10 finaliists are:

Les Steckle
Jim Wacker (from above)
Gino Toretta
Spurgeon Wynn
Brian Bosworth
Tony Mandrich
Marty Morningweig
Art Shell
Robert Tate
Ted Brown

I would also add Coach Cantafio from Wilson High in PA.......of the video tape fame.  We know that he can get Danny to have PRIDE.

For no apparent reason, I'm posting this photo from last weekend. Actually, Oz's dad's idea of having to fish on the other side of the lake got me thinking that this is what happens sometimes...(note the creative use of boat and (partially submerged) ATV)...

Actually, I think any of these guys would be able to coach football at St. Thomas.

For Oz ...

Sitting together on a train, travelling through the Swiss Alps, were a Kiwi guy, an Australian bloke, a little old Greek lady, and a young blonde Swiss girl with large breasts.  The Train goes into a dark tunnel and a few seconds later there is the sound of a loud slap. When the train emerges from the tunnel, the Kiwi has a bright red hand print on his cheek.  No one speaks.
The old lady thinks: The Kiwi guy must have groped the blonde in the dark, and she slapped his cheek.
The blonde Swiss girl thinks: That Kiwi guy must have tried to grope me in the dark, but missed and fondled the old lady and she slapped his cheek.
The Kiwi thinks: The Australian bloke must have groped the blonde in the dark. She tried to slap him but missed and got me instead.
The Australian thinks: I can't wait for another tunnel, just so I can smack the Kiwi again.

So, how do ATVs run while "partially submerged"?

Maybe after this season, Cam Cameron (not McCambridge) can be added to the UST hopeful list.

TWS, I think you better go back into your pod for  few days, you're making a bit of sense lately.

And the crowd goes wild!

I just read that out to a couple blokes around the office.  Nothing goes over better than a joke where the Kiwi's are stupid, the Aussies are crafty and the Sheilas have big knockers!

True story on Robert Tate, verified by two sources within the Vikings Organization  ;)

Group of Vikings going flying to Brainerd to take part in the Arctic Party on Mille Lacs (prior to theTodd Bauman and Ted Brown tag team).  On approach to the Brainerd Regional Airport and flying over a frozen Mille lacs Lake, he looked over to my buddy, Chad, who works for the Vikings, and asked him "Hey, what ocean is that?"
