The best way to answer your question retagent is to go to the sources........AO and TweetyBird, maybe they can enlighten us on this topic.

Ehh, I'm not overly surprised -- I don't know too many schools that really want to travel that far and not get a home game in return the next year.

Perhaps SJU could return a game to Marietta.

And give up the gate receipts in Collegeville?  That wouldn't be very SJU-like...

By the way, Judge JR is in luck: Paris is now taking applications for a "funny, smart boyfriend." I think JR entirely fits this category!

From Jimmy's comments in Frank's blog it seems SJU is willing play an away game on that date and to consider a home and home series.  Wonder why Alma didn't ask for a home and home, with SJU to come to their place next season ... or maybe they did but couldn't cover SJU's travel costs.

We'll have to check out the MSU bookstore.  Maybe there will be a good and informative book about how Halloween costumes and toys perpetuate "gender stereotypes" and "roles."  Maybe there's a good book about which neutered, mindless nickname/mascots have been approved by the NC00 Schutstaffel.  Incidentally, one of my partners, the one who is female, was complaining about how the staff, who are all female, gang up and pick on a different female staff peson every so often.  Evidently,  a different person gets the yick yack attack every so often.  I simply told her that nature was simply doing what it always does and that it was God's way of pointing out the reality that women should not be in the workplace.  We all had a good laugh.  My wife's already learned that lesson.  I wonder if Brice and I will find a book about that stereotype at the MSU bookstore.

This instructional video should be helpful. Click on and watch:

Thanks Fins- I was wondering what the deal was with open minded women and that video cleared things up for me alot!! Get in the kitchen and bake me a PIE! SOrry if anyone (BENNIE) finds that phrase offensive.

Who will most likely do the spying in this weekend's game between the Jets and Patriots?

I venture over here because at least once, and sometimes several times a day, I laugh out loud reading some of the posts. How do you put a price on that.

Box of trick sneezing powder? $10

Book of Farside comics? $25

Reading the funnies at the MIAC PP? Priceless

Just quietly, I've noticed AO on these boards at 3 am quite a few times, but keeping a careful eye on my karma, it's not he (he or him?  Uncertain - I think he) that has been smiting me.

I went to the WIAC board on retagent's advice last night to give a newbie some points after he was hammered for just saying 'I'm new, go UWW'.  Poor kid was a LAX grad and paid.  And I paid for giving him k as well.

I think all this smiting is coming from the UWW supporters who are suffering from "beaten bully complex".  They know they're about to get their a**es wiped by MUC so are throwing around their weight while they still can.  I can't wait for the loss bullying in the form of, "At least we got to the Stagg. -k for you!"

It's a big waste of time anyway to play football against any team called "Scots". Unless of course they bring bagpipes. Now that's worth watching.

Today's joke-du-jour, brought to you by Betty Crocker:

Marrying an Atheist
A young lady came home from a date, rather sad. She told her mother, "Jeff proposed to me an hour ago."
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Because he also told me he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't even believe there's a hell."
Her mother said, "Marry him anyway. Between the two of us, we'll show him how wrong he is."

And to prove I'm not some flaming misogynist, the second half of today's joke-du-jour double-header brings you some gentle humor from the perspective of "the fairer sex":

THE LONELY BRAIN CELL

Once upon a time there was a female brain cell which, by mistake, happened to end up in a man's head.

She looked around nervously because it was all empty and quiet. " Hello?" she cried, but no answer.

"Is there anyone here?" she cried a little louder, but still no answer.

Now the female brain cell started to feel alone and scared because there were no brain cells around, and she yelled at the top of her voice,

"HELLO, IS THERE ANYONE HERE?"

Then she heard a faint voice from far, far away............

"We're down here."

I don't know, fins. While the bagpipes themselves are pretty cool, the kilts kind of weird me out.

The only kilt I want to see would be on our very own KiltedRat.  8)

Agreed, BDB. I don't care how much whiskey you drink, there's really no good reason for a man to wear a skirt. You may find this hard to believe, but that just reminded me of another joke. (Looks like I hit the trifecta today):

Why do Scotsmen wear kilts?

Because a sheep can hear a zipper a mile away.

BDB

Wearing a kilt on a windy day can end up in unwanted results.
