That is the beauty of Liberal Arts schools! They force you to expand your mind whether you want to or not! ;D

I should clarify that I don't have a problem with Women's Studies, but I don't understand why it can't be taught with an analytical/historical perspective instead of embracing every negative stereotype out there!! :-\ They don't do themselves (or women as a whole) any favors!

When the professors teaching the classes make Ellen and Rosie look feminine. ;D

I can kinda see how some softball players might think Ellen's hot. But Rosie? not so much.

When a guy does something wrong, he has to apologize for doing something wrong; and when the woman is wrong, the guy has to apologize for getting upset at what she did wrong. It's a no-win situation.

Just to correct you fins, as I'm still married and remember how this works.  It's an all-win, not no-win, situation.  You were looking at the from the man's point of view.  Oops.

EDIT: Doh! in relation to fins' correction above.

Ha! That was Retagent that said that, but it could've been me. ;) I tell my GF now when she's not with me, how will I know what I'm doing wrong?

Why is a divorce so expensive?
Because it's worth it.

If my ex-wife didn't toss and turn in her sleep, we never would've had the kids.

I remember last time we did it, I turned to her after and said, "Gee honey, that was great, especially the part where you moved."

"No really," I said, "Who were you thinking of?"

Thank you very much. You're a wonderful audience. I'll be here all week. Thank you.  8)

Softball players?  If it's late innings in the last game of the day during a road trip tournament and most of the beer is gone from the cooler then maybe one of them might find Rosie attracti...  I can't even type the word in that context, but I think you know what I mean.

We'll have to check out the MSU bookstore.  Maybe there will be a good and informative book about how Halloween costumes and toys perpetuate "gender stereotypes" and "roles."  Maybe there's a good book about which neutered, mindless nickname/mascots have been approved by the NC00 Schutstaffel.  Incidentally, one of my partners, the one who is female, was complaining about how the staff, who are all female, gang up and pick on a different female staff peson every so often.  Evidently,  a different person gets the yick yack attack every so often.  I simply told her that nature was simply doing what it always does and that it was God's way of pointing out the reality that women should not be in the workplace.  We all had a good laugh.  My wife's already learned that lesson.  I wonder if Brice and I will find a book about that stereotype at the MSU bookstore.

This instructional video should be helpful. Click on and watch:

Ha Ha Ha!  That's great.  I wonder if there's someway of placing that video on the NOW web site.  Thanks.

With some of the softball players I have seen, it is hard to tell the difference! Beer bellies...child bearing hips...mullets! ;) ;D

Fins that is hilarious...+k to you.

I just got married a month ago and inside my tuxedo pocket was the business card of one of my groomsmans dad.  Hes a divorce attorney.  On the back it said, one get of jail free card.  I laughed like crazy when I read that.  I can appreciate a good wedding day joke.

OZ,

What airport were you posting from yesterday?  Either you were in Berlin or somebody from this Board was there as evidenced by the following breaking news this afternoon.

A couple of the MUC are pretty worried about UWW.  I don't think there's anything for them to worry about, really.  If they stop UWW's running attack, I don't think UWW really has that much of a passing game does it?  When I watched UWW play "Jan Brady State (SCSU)" the passing game looked sub-par.  While that was  a long time ago, the WI teams are all pretty much primary-run teams.  Maybe I'm wrong but I think we see another MUC championship this year.

My late grandfather, an old Great Northern Railroad round-house worker of 42 years, liked to say that "education just ruins a woman."  Personal story that is dead-on accurate:  In 1995, one of my ex-girlfriends, Brice and I were stopped at an intersection in Bloomington and were discussing how men were better drivers than women; my ex-girlfriend protested this.  Just then, a woman driver alone in her car rear-ended a lone man in his car located in the lane just to our left.  No $#!&!  God must be male.

That guy's obviously no Aussie.  Legless after just two pints of vodka.  What a disgrace.

Now thems is fighting words!! :D Everytime I see someone on the interstate driving 90+ miles an hour and cutting across 2 lanes to (just barely) make the exit, it is a male! Everytime I have seen someone back up/make an illegal u-turn because they have missed their turn, it has been a male. I think there are plenty of bad drivers of both genders! 8)
