BDB

section, son of BDB was at hockey practice. I didn't take him because this was a business deal up in a suite.

Therefore, we stopped at the Coachman in Baldwin on the way home and ended up getting back to Menomonie around 1am.

Hence the cobwebs.  ;D

Frank is reporting East Texas Baptist has replaced the mighty Alma Scots on next year's opening day schedule.  Shocking!!!  :o
That would be good for both schools and for D3, regardless of the outcome!

IN-region for both teams, too!

With Ralph Turner joining the conversation perhaps the MIAC could roll 3500 by the September opener.....

Going back a couple of pages to the V-Bar comments.

The original V-Bar was located on the East side of the river somewhere near the Sartell Mini-Serve (not sure if that's what it's still called but that what I remember it as).  I wanna say that building burnt down and they eventually relocated across the river in an old bank and originally was V-Bar II, then the Bank Bar and now the Dam Bar.

Don't know how much I'll be around in the next couple of days so I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a......

Merry Christmas!

Had the wonderful experience of driving back with her on Tuesday from Boulder. Soooo boring going through Nebraska on the interstate. :P
Just pop a little Paris in the stereo and the trip doesn't seem so...
never mind.

JR, having lived in the great flat state of Nebraska back in the 80s, all I can say is amen.  One really has to make that drive to appreciate what you experienced.  There is little wonder that Arbor Day originated in Nebraska - and yet one can still drive what seems like hours without seeing more than a handful of trees.  When I used to drive across Nebraska on I-80 I'd usually just draft behind a semi and get some sleep. ;)

Ok, I have officially decided I do not like VOJ. I understand he is the big radio guy and all that crap, but I have decided after readingf\ a bunch of his posts, I officially call PRICK. Sorry VOJ, I call em like I see em.

Geez, flash, I have to throw a flag on that one.  15 for unsportsmanlikeconduct.

BTW, are you suggesting that VOJ should post over on the No Fun Board?

BTW: Mr. Flash what do you think of TDT sir?  Feeling a little blue after Bennie dissed me earlier today...

Ahhh....I wouldn't even bother to tease you if I didn't think you were a little darlin'! ;D

Merry Christmas!

Ditto to all from me - and +k to the last 3 pages, including Freebird and Ralph (is this Christmas spirit or what!), except for TDT who doesn't want it and flash who's in the penalty box (but Merry Christmas to them anyway).

Got a few cob webs this morning.

Had the pleasure of being at the Wild game last night to see Gaborik's 5 goal, 6 point night.

After the 3rd goal the ice was covered with hats. After#4 some more stuff got thrown out there.

After #5 nobody had anything left.  :D

Did any of you catch the Yotes/Shark game last night? There was a bit of a free for all. Apparently Carcillo was home sick the day they explained the third man in rule.

Speaking of pricks, you should have heard the inappropriate comments (made mostly by me) when I was at a conference and one of the vendors was handing out 8 inch rulers with a magnifying strip. This ruler did come in handy yesterday. No it is not what you think! ;) In the spirit of giving, both my sister and I cut our long hair to donate to Beautiful Lengths which is a program through Pantene that provides wigs to the American Cancer Society to distribute for free to women with cancer. Yes, this is a straight up plug, but if you know of anyone that would be willing to part with at least 8 inches of unprocessed hair, it is a wonderful thing to do.

Touchdown Tommy

BlueDevil Bob, you are a legend.  Man I woulda given my left nut to be at the X last night for that performance.  What an incredible game and I bet the energy in the building was palpable.  Holy ish.  You prolly could have ridden your Magic Carpet home after the VIP treatment in the Suite and the game for the ages...

Fins: 5 star post.  There is the reason you are The Mayor of the CAC.

Thanks Redtooth...Merry Christmas to you too :P  Hope you freeze your ass off in the great state of Montana

Thanks for the note VOJ.  The weather here is actually pleasant with snow in the mountains and my yard without snow.....no windchill factors to worry about either ;D ;D

Be careful of wishing someone Merry Christmas anymore......had our 4 year old son's "Christmas program" on Tuesday; every song was recognizable and had a nice religous/Christmas bent to it.  Yesterday our 2nd grader has her "Holiday Concert"......out of 20 songs/performances; 2 songs that were recognizable and had some element of Christmas in them......we had all of our other bases covered however ;)

Nothing says Merry Christmas quite like 50 western Montana rural/city kids from Missoula rapping about reindeer.
