Fixing a hole in the ice???  I generally try to put holes in the ice :D  It's easier to catch fish that way.

Conde Nast now lists Fins as the region's top fishing guide....

Developing......

Don't tell the folks at Conde Nast that I got skunked today. Even using my new structure on a string.  :'(
Fins, as I always tell the Mrs as we wander through the malls this time of year, there is just no limit to the advance of technology and engineering innovations. 8)

I really enjoyed the Sabers/Penguins hockey game in Ralph Wilson Stadium.

I want to hear the opinions of some real hockey experts who saw it.

Thanks.  :)

While we are waiting for the experts to weigh in, I will give you my thoughts on the game. I thought it was a lot of fun. Gary Bettman probably wet himself with joy when Sid the Kid scored to win the shootout! I kind of feel bad about how much pressure has been put on Sidney to be the face of the NHL. The Ryan Miller trash talking commercial was quite funny. I called my dad and laughed about what a big deal they were making about the temps. What Johnnie fan hasn't sat out in below freezing temps to watch a sporting event? 8) My dad pointed out that he can remember high school hockey games being played outdoors at night up on da Range. Yowza! :o I had a friend call and inform me that if they ever do an outdoor game on the West coast we are going. After I got done laughing so hard I nearly fell off the couch I asked them where exactly on the West coast is there a team that plays in a city that gets cold enough to host an outdoor game! After a moment of silence I was informed "nevermind". :D
When I was at St. John's all of our home hockey games were outside. I had a ringside seat from a third floor window in the old science building. John was coach. Kinda dates me.  :D

I was watching the Sugar Bowl last night and twice they talked about this O-lineman for Georgia and how smart he was.

They said he had a 4.1 GPA.  ???

Am I missing something? Is that possible? Extra credit?  :D

Well, it was FOX doing the broadcast.  ;)

I'm with Klop, I think maybe honors classes or Masters level classes maybe count on a 5.0 scale like in high school. I'll take my 3.3 out of SJU over he 4.1 out of Georguh any day!

Friggin' Vikes are on TV two weeks in a row down here and they have to be the last two weeks.  Damn dumb Viqueens.  They were being beaten so badly by half time that I gave into the nagging and did chores instead of watching the pathetic end of another Vikes season.

Vikings suck!  Vikings suck!

It could be worse - I'm a Lions fan. :P

I got you all beat, I'm a Dolphins fan.   :'(

But you get a great draft pick out of the deal not to mention a new genius in the front office!
Poor vikes fans had to see a season almost good enough to inspire hope, but not quite while still not bad enough for a good draft pick!

If anyone wants to jump on the Packers' bandwagon, there's a little bit of room at the back! Free beer, brats and cheese curds for all!

Now here is a questions for you Dolphins fans.  Who are they going to take, and can the Big Tuna and top pick make this team a playoff contender next season?

Fins do you actually own that thing and if so does it help you catch fish?

I've actually heard that they work quite well.
Yeah, I heard that, too, so I plunked down $30 for a set of 2 weeds. :o Didn't really give them a fair shake yesterday, as I ended up leaving just before prime time. But, my house now is in a hole w/ sandy bottom, and fish like structure, so...I'll give 'em structure, and minnows, and a glowing jig, and... ::)

Klop, I don't think the Dolphins really contend next season.  I think they improve, hard not too after this season.  If I was Tuna I would either take Dorsey from LSU or trade the pick for lower 1 this year, a two and three and possibly a conditional two or three next year.  The dolphins need help at DT and DB (both CB and Safety) on D and a big time receiver because the morons running the team traded both Welker and Chambers this past year.  QB is important but a good free agent can be picked up or go with Lemon for another year and let Beck mature.  They could also use a stud LT but the O line is not bad and the running game will not be bad with Brown comming back and Chatmen.

They screwed up a few years ago when they hired Saban instead of giving Jim Bates a real chance.  Hopefully Tuna straightens things out on the football side.

Boy, Hawaii sure didn't turn out to be this year's Boise State, huh?  My hope for '08 is that our defensive line performs like Georgia's last night and all of our opponents offensive lines perform like Hawaii's did. ???

While I enjoy watching hockey, I barely know the difference between a hockey puck and a horse apple. I do know that while wrist shots may be effective with horse apples, slapshots should not be attempted.

That's probably where they came up with the idea for face shields! ;)

Of course I am talking the last few seasons, actually since Jimmy Johnson took over and sent the team on a downhill spiral.

Yeah, I was only complaining about recent seasons too - like since 1957! ::)  (With Barry Sanders at least they were entertaining, even if they still sucked.)
