I got nuthin' I just couldn't stand to see the MIACPP so low in the west region lineup when I came here.

I could have sworn I posted something last night after getting home from our winter trip to NYC and reading all the movie reviews on the MIACPP but I don't see it.  I'll probably find the posting window still open on my home computer when I get there.  Between the flu on Christmas and then the trip, it feels like I've missed a couple of weeks.  Did anyone get banned while I was gone?

BTW, during a holiday run just before Christmas I found that the local liquor store is now selling Fat Tire, 1554 and Two Below in six packs. 8) Good karma for me, which I'll share here.

A man walks into a bar with a giraffe.  After a couple hours the giraffe falls off its stool and lays sprawled on the floor.  As the man gets up to leave, the bartender says, "Hey, mate, you can't leave that lyin' there."

The man responds, "That's not a lion.  It's a giraffe."

I don't think the confirmation has been mentioned here, but I just had a look at the Johnnie schedule for 2008 and see that East Texas Baptist is confirmed for Sept 6 @ Collegeville.  So, it's good to see that the schedule is finalized (again).

I was right - I came home to find the reply window was open with some drivel after watching yet another Ohio team fall short in a championship game (line play, not speed being the difference).

Did anyone note that a UM qb recruit, MarQueis Gray, was playing in the Army AA game over the weekend?   Hmmm ... maybe Mike Grant's son might want to find a place to play where he might actually get some snaps.

Good luck, stanbob - stay safe.

Was trying to figure out why I was logged in everytime I signed on. I finally realized that when I logged myself out and logged back in that the bottom of the screen is defualted to "log on forever".  Hopefully I didn't seem to be a addict or anything.   ;D
Everyday is payday in paradise.

I found it quite interesting that the most penalized team in the SEC wasn't penalized at all in the first three quarters except for an intentional grounding which was blatantly obvious and a personal foul which was as well...but LSU just out-athleticised the Buckeyes.

Mike Grant's son isn't going to be playing QB for the Gophers-- he was, from the get-go, recruited as a safety (as he is a very talented safety).  Same with Cretin-D-H QB Nance.

It's GIRAFFE JOKE WEEKToday's entry:

The giraffe walks into a bar and announces, "Hey everybody, the highballs are on me!"

BDB

Giraffe joke week?  :D

Went to the Menomonie-Chippewa Falls hockey game last night.

Home squad up 2-1 with 1:30 to go Chi-Hi pulls their goalie.

It works, they score. 2-2

Menomonie goes back on a rush and scores with about :45 remaining. 3-2.

Chi-Hi pulls their goalie again and it's a mad rush at the net, pelting the MHS goalie who is standing on his ear.

Game ends 3-2, but I almost saw 2 pulled goalie goals in a minute and a half by the same team.   :o

I had a small world experience the other day. I went in to the Pottery Barn and ended up in a random conversation with a woman that works there. Some how it came up that I went to CSB and it turns out her daughter went to St. Thomas. The woman and her family moved down here from Seattle so I am not quite sure how her daughter ended up picking a Minnesota school for college. And no, I did not ask her if her daughter was easy! ;) ;D
