OK, so it's not the funniest in the world, but Hey, beaver jokes are hard to come by.

Especially if you don't want to end up with an "Unknown trojan" on your machine.  ;)

Better an unknown trojan on your machine than a filled unfamiliar trojan on your bedside stand!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

That Trojan statement reminds of an old joke, probably best left un-remembered due to it's lameness...

What's worse that lobsters on your piano?  Crabs on your organ.

Q. How does James Bond like his beaver?

A. Shaven, not furred.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I blame the mayor for this.

Enjoying the jokes when I get a chance to read.  +K to all, well except one.

Which then leads to this joke.
What is better than roses on your piano?

Tulips on your organ.

A few new faces for the Johnnies this year ;D

Of the transfers, it looks like Bohlman only has a year of eligibility left, while Broderick has two, and Reding may have three (one of his years at Air Force appears to have been at their prep school).  Good to see some o-linemen coming in.

How's about a few more Future Johnnie Spotlights?

Jeff Bohlman:  Bohlman was a 2005 Sartell graduate who was All-Everything (i.e., -Section, -Conference, -Area, and -State) as a senior.  Scout.com rated him a One-Star prospect at Defensive End.  Originally recruited to the Air Force Acadamy as a Linebacker, he spent the 2005 season on the Air Force junior varsity team and did not see action for the Falcons in 2006.  Entering 2007, he was expected to compete for a backup role at DE before transferring to North Dakota State.  While he made the travel roster on multiple occasions for the Bison, he did not see any playing time in 2007.  Best I can figure, he comes to St. John's with two years of eligibility remaining.  (Unless tmerton is right and he lost a year when he played JV--not sure how the D3/MIAC rules of not honoring redshirts applies in this situation.)

Jakob Reding:  I cannot find any record of Reding having ever played competitive football.  Apparently he was a Linebacker who became a Fullback and he likes that more.  He's 6-0, 200--what does that make him at St. John's?  I guess anything from Halfback to Defensive End.

Ben Broderick:  Yep, looks like he played small college football.  Don't know much else about him--the MSCTC Football website doesn't give game recaps or season stats to see how much he played Center versus other spots on the line.  With Salvato graduating, the Johnnies certainly have a big hole to fill on the line.

Eric Dirkes:  Sounds like a decent enough player.  It will be interesting to see if he ends up on the offensive or defensive side of the ball.  At 6-2, 290 he is bigger than the typical Johnnie D-Lineman, while the Johnnies seem to be constructing a historically large (physically, and for them, at least) offensive line.  From a broader perspective, it is good to see the local pipeline remaining strong and keeping Dirkes from "wasting" a year or two down the street at State like Brian Weber, Kyle Gearman and others did.

Go Sartell! ;D

Kinda makes a guy wonder if all the playing time you got was some sort of package deal to get Josh Pantzke, Jason Pflipsen, and Matt Darling and future Sartell recruits like Jeff Bohlman on campus...

Klop,
From what I've gathered the bite has been hit & miss. The ice is spotty as mentioned in Dec. There will be some great ice making weather for the next couple days with overnight low temps. of - teens below zero. The bottom dropping out of the temps. will change things up. Ah, what the heck, if they're not biting it leaves more time to drink Hamms.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
