stanbob,
Just noticed that it was -9 with a wind chill of -28 in Green Bay. Maybe the Pack should move the game to your part of the country.  :D

Maybe not a bad idea. it is a balmy +2 here, the wind never blows in the Interior, and there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow.   :D
Everyday is payday in paradise.

So anyone know who is next at St. Thomas?

After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

57, it's -17*F in central Minnesota (actual temp.-I haven't checked windchill) that is officially cold enough to freeze the nuts off a John Deer plow  :D

I think this is the year #2 finds out about MN winters.

SUMMIT!!!!!

I normally cringe at posts about Tommie women, but I gotta share this with you guys, knowing it will be loved.

Wednesday, I went to UST for the (first place) womens and (first place) mens hoops DH with Concordia. I noticed a sign at the concession stand announcing they now sold Gatorade. I asked the perky and easy on the eyes blonde behind the counter "what flavors of gatorade do you have?"
She smiled nice and replied "we have red, blue, green and orange."

I responded "OK now that I know what colors you have, can you tell me what FLAVORS you carry?"

She got a puzzled look but then smiled even brighter than before as she replied "red, blue, green and orange."

Exasperated, I asked "can you tell me what the red tastes like?"

She said "yeah." Long pause then "its good."

I bought a blue one.

Hopefully, some of you red fanatics will find your way to The Shoe on Monday, as UST hosts your red machine.

Now, maniac, play fair.

I've suffered through Gatorade, and, quite frankly, red tastes, well, 'red'.  The green tastes, um, 'green'.  You were expecting perhaps the varietals of Bordeaux?! ;)

KitchenSink

Well, she should have had orange correct ....
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

So Miacmaniac do you think something will be announced this week?

The building that feeds us Fox and CBS from Grand Junction, CO burned to the ground last night so we will NOT be getting the playoff games on TV.
Thank God it isn't a Johnnie game.  ;)

Just got an update. The best of two worlds has happened. We will be getting the video but not the audio which couldn't be better. Thanks for the offer.  ;D

Let this be a lesson to you boys, when you ask for beaver (jokes) without specifically asking for high quality beaver (jokes) sometimes you end up getting rank, bad beaver (jokes)!   :)

What I miss are your stories about your daily encounters with the sick and the weird (and no,  I'm not asking for stories about when you roomed with TDT).

I'm doing a neurology rotation right now which is mostly Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. More depressing than anything! I was on vacation the 3 weeks before that, so no old stories to bring up, sorry!
I'll post as soon as I have some good ones for ya!

57,
Sounds like you got the best of all worlds! I wish they had an option of Video and just game sounds with no announcers.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

bennie - I spent last week out in sunny So Cal, so I was a little hockey starved. Fortunately, one day (Thursday?) I just turn on the TV and the first highlight they have is Rick Nash's deke, curl and drag, deke, shoot for the goal. NICE!

Oh, Also, My Caps are en fuego!!

My nomination for this week's MIAC Man of the Week goes to John Daly.
I hope his ribs heal quickly!  ::)
