57, what time do you usually get up out there in Montrose?  God do I miss SE Utah.  Loved watching the sun come up over the San Juans in the distance.  What kind of view do you have to the south?  And how close are you to Grand Mesa?

We will sometimes sleep in 'til 5 AM in winter but we are getting ready for spring and summer hours. We are about 50 miles south of Grand Mesa and 30 miles north of the San Juans. Our house faces south (like the old country song) and we have an unobstructed view of the San Juans. TDT would never get up that early but the San Juans are often pink tinged at sunrise. Now that you got me started, we may head for the hot springs today at Ouray at the base of the San Juans since nobody wants to talk about JOHNNIE Football anyway. +k for asking. :D
That puts you at triple digits again - at least until the 'Smiting Schmuck' strikes again  ;D

Nice.  Especially the hot springs part.  Thanks for the +k

I'll ask a football question.  Can't see the Johnnies going anywhere without a good QB.  So, who is the good QB going to be out of this bunch?  I count ten underclass QB's on last years roster, 9 of which are Freshmen or Sophomores.

Stick with the 12 oz. weights, Frank.

Long time, no post. What's new?

They are only 12 oz the first time you curl them.  That is why you need lots of reps to get a good workout.  If you feel like bulking up us the 16 oz to start you variable weight curls.

As Jim Morrison once said "there are things known, and there are things unknown, and in between are the Doors". What Jim is saysing here is that he agrees with SB71  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Then you try to work up to the 40's.
Reminds me of an item on the news a short time ago. The story was about binge drinking and they showed a clip of some college kids at an "Edward 40 Hands" party. All the kids had 40's duct-taped to their hands. :D

As things currently stand, I would imagine that Joe Boyle, Jordan Hansel and Michael Crees all have designs on the starting QB job, and I think each has the potential to develop into a very decent player.  Whether this is a step forward or a step back for the Johnnies is entirely dependent on what you think of the work done by Alex Kofoed.

I think I like the sounds of "Boyle/Hansel/Crees/???" more than the "Vertin/Ruff/Royce-Diop/???" situation at the start of the 2004 season.  Of coure, in 2004 "? ? ?" became Alex Kofoed three and a half quarters into the season.  Who knows what hidden gems the Johnnies will have on the roster next year.

Ugh... Edited to get rid of a stupid emoticon.

Speaking of Johnnie skills...check this out!

I nominate this guy as the "official" adult bevy distributor for future Stififests.....the time of SJU games would allow him plenty of time to get to work at TGIFridays.  I would imagine his skills would match nicely with the red cups.

It might also throw the Rent-a-cops that you guys have your own liquids chef  8) 8)  JJR on the grill and this guy pouring.

SB71. I'm doing what I can about boosting you after the smite knight makes his run. Just stop whining about it. Those who matter will counteract those who don't.

The quarterback position will be filled by the one who shows that he will be the best at that position. There are a number who have shown that they are able to do so. What, Me worry?
