Don't show this picture to any of the more easily intimidated Avs! ;)

I don't think he had the stache when he was in college, but he did have the long hair (which he just recently cut to donate to charity).

Howdy Doody?
High sticking, tripping, slashing, spearing, charging, hooking, fighting, unsportsmanlike conduct, interference, roughing... everything else is just figure skating.  ~Author Unknown

The Caps looked invincible last night. Hope they can keep it up. I just wish someone would look at Olie's stats and figure out that his better days are behind him. I know he's a good guy and all that, but Johnson has looked so much better than Olie, I just don't understand why they feel there is any question about who should be #1 goalie, and that Johnson should be Huet's backup.

Speaking of ice, is anyone going to start to question AlGore and his rapidly melting credibility regarding "global warming?"
To quote Boone Pickens, "I believe in global warming; I just don't believe in it every day."
???

I have absolutely no idea why it originally quoted the previous posts.  I tried to edit it to get rid of that stuff, but you caught me before I could get it done! Sorry for the confusion!  It was meant, obviously, to echo the favre bit that had preceded it!
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

JJR - I saw a post a week or so ago where you said your daughter had spent the weekend in Sydney.  I hope she enjoyed it and isn't too homesick (or not yet, anyway).

Just make sure she doesn't let those lame Sydney-siders convince her to back Rugby Union.  The lamest of Australian invented sports.  She's got to go for Aussie Rules, and can back the Sydney Swans if she must (but Hawthorn would be a far better choice - all good Johnnies living in Oz are fans of the Gold and Brown).

As long as I'm talking Aussie sport, I may as well mention that it's last weekend of the Aussie Rules pre-season.  The final of the pre-season cup is on tomorrow between the Adelaide Crows (or crow eaters, as we call them) and the St Kilda Saints (who's training facilities are just 8 or 9 blocks from my home).  I know there are a few of you waiting with baited breath on my Aussie Rules updates during the off season (particularly Wonka, if I remember correctly).

So, to whet your appetite here is a video of some high flying marks (that would be catches).

Quick post to get off the annoyingly wide display.

Don't you have to hold on to the bloody ball for it to count?

A man with a gun went into a bank and demanded their money.  Once he was given the money, he turned to a customer and asked, 'Did you see me rob this bank?'

The man replied, 'Yes sir, I did.'

The robber then shot him in the temple, killing him instantly.

He then turned to a couple standing next to him and asked the man, 'Did you see me rob this bank?'

The man replied, 'No sir, I didn't, but my wife did.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Today's installment:

A golfer teed up his ball on the first tee, took a mighty swing and hit his ball into a clump of trees.
He found his ball and saw an opening between two trees he thought he could hit through.
Taking out his 3-wood, he took another mighty swing; the ball hit a tree, bounced back, hit him in the forehead and killed him.
As he approached the gates of heaven, St.Peter saw him coming and asked, "Are you a good golfer?"
The man replied: "Got here in two, didn't I?"
