State Hockey Tourney prediction. I'm taking Curt Giles troops, The Edina Hornets. Upset pick, Hill-Murray.

Did you know Friday's special was 2 for 1?

The bride came down the aisle and when she reached the altar, the groom was standing there with his golf bag and clubs at his side.
She said: "What are your golf clubs doing here"?
He looked her right in the eye and said, "This isn't going to take all day, is it?"

A young woman dressed in shorts had been taking golf lessons. She had just started playing her first round of golf when she suffered a bee sting. Her pain was so intense that she decided to return to the clubhouse for help and to complain.

Her golf pro saw her come into the clubhouse and asked "Why are you back in so early? What's wrong?"

"I was stung by a bee!"- she said.

"Where?" he asked.

"Between the first and second hole," she replied.

He nodded knowingly and said, "Then your stance is too wide."
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Hey Oz, do any of the joints down under have meat raffles, or is this a uniquely Minnesota experience?
I think we should try a round of "Risk Your Meat" at the next tailgate.

Is it a sin to talk about meat on Friday during lent?

Is chicken still considered meat?  My favorite lenten Friday food at St Mary's Hope for Sinners Elementary School was fish sticks.  My favorite lenten Friday night food at SJU was all you can eat deep fried scallops.

So, to whet your appetite here is a video of some high flying marks (that would be catches).

Don't you have to hold on to the bloody ball for it to count?

Well, you only need an instant of control and the ground or another player cannot knock if free - once you have the instant of control.  And, to be honest, if you have a particularly spectacular high-flying grab then the interpretation of an instant becomes pretty forgiving.

Yes they do, and the the enthusiasm of the RSL meat raffle astounds me.  (The Retired Serviceman's League, kind of a VFW, serves as a general social club in Aussie communities - as does the surf club if there's a beach).  In fact, a quick search just revealed that the Oatley RSL has a bingo night and meat raffle every Tuesday.  Quick book your flight and you can get there for the 11th.

Looks like fun. Better be some tasty meat for a $1500 flight!

SB71- ditto on the scallops at the Reef. We didn't know how good we had it.

Meat raffle - AKA "how Fins gets his venison"! 8)

I'd be all over it if they'd give away venison sausage. But no tmerts, I have a much better system. I just send my boys out into the woods and I'm back at the shack playing cribbage. They shoot, I pay for licenses and processing. Good deal all around.

BDB

fins, fish and Hamm's at the KC tonight?  ;D

finsleft

Close, the Eagles club, not the KC. Hamm's at $2 a can-it's becoming one of their best sellers. Just like I told them it would.

BDB

Sage advice.

Just got the word on Aquafest bands.

We will be presenting Diamond Rio.   8)
