QuoteBack in the days of the Soviet Union, the Soviet Red Army had an official choir composed of male soldiers and musicians.  It still exists.  The Red Army Choir performs throughout Russia to this day.

Now consider the Finnish rock band called The Leningrad Cowboys.  A little while ago, they held a concert in Russia, in which - to the screaming applause of Russkie teen-agers - they got the Red Army Choir to join them on stage for a performance of "Sweet Home Alabama."  In English.  You couldn't make this up

That is fargin hilarious, I love the wigs, plus the irony of the Red Army Choir singing Skynrd is great.  I also love the dramatic russian flair they use at the end.  Great.

Almost as bizzarre, same two groups doing Stairway to Heaven.

Sabretooth Tiger

Four married men go fishing. After an hour, the following conversation took place:

First guy: "You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out fishing this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I would paint every room in the house next weekend."

Second guy: "That is nothing, I had to promise my wife that I would build her a new deck for the pool."

Third guy: "Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I would remodel the kitchen for her."

They continue to fish. When they realized that the fourth guy has not said a word, they asked him.

"You haven't said any thing about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend. What's the deal?"

Fourth guy: "I just set my alarm for 5:30 am. When it went off, I shut off my alarm, gave the wife a slap on her ass and said: "Fishing or Sex?"

She said: "Wear sun-block"

When Hillary knocks down a shot and a beer at a Pennsylvania tavern, what kind of beer does she drink?

+K Ralph, videos where people are hurting themselves should be welcome anywhere no matter the subject content.

I just read this, Danny Federici of the E Street Band has passed away after a fight with cancer.

I am getting increasingly tired of seeing my Capitals get jobbed by the referees. Two injury inducing high sticking incidents going uncalled. One right where the puck is. How do they miss that? And then Kozlov getting checked into the goalie and being called for Goalie interference. Even the announcers were aghast. They did get those two "Too Many Men on the Ice" penalties on the Caps that had no influence on the play though. Way to go Koho and crew.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

The Capitals have fans?...:)

They must dress up in red naugahyde for most of the season!  :o

That comment went over my head - or more likely, between the wickets. Is there some purpose or logic to that?

Thanks tmert. If he had said blue PVC or some such, I might have gotten the reference. That's what they are, I think.
