Gee Duff, I didnt know it was a trend.  I have been drinking it for many many years.  I guess that makes me a trend setter. ;)

It's all about marketing.  Their ads trick a lot of folks into believing that Corona is the beer to sit on the beach and drink.  I'd rather fill an empty Grainbelt bottle up with saltwater.
I've got to believe you Duff. I have never tried Corona since I'm a firm believer that REAL beer doesn't need a lime to go with it.  :P

Real beer also comes in a brown bottle.  Snoop, try Fat Tire Amber Ale if you are looking for a nice flavorful beer while grilling.

If you are going to sit on a beach and drink beer, and you are in need of an import, at least pick up a Red Stripe.  Now I would love to hear what the MIACPP boy think about Red Stripe.  Irie!

Duff,  try a Modelo Negro, another beer from south of the border that I really like.  No marketing to complain of with that one.  Duff, ever ocean fish?  The yellow tail will be running soon, can't wait.

Klop....I have had a Red Stripe, very good.  I prefer the lighter beers.  I think I developed that taste after spending my college years drinking Iron City.  I think they made it with rinse water from the steel mills in Pittsburgh at the time.  It was awful but always cold and therefore drinkable.

Excuse me for interjecting golf, but since there's no D3golf.com, here's the question about the NCAA championships and a first-round score:

180     Chris Coffin      Husson College      102      +31

WTF?

How many of us here could drink a case of Hamms and kick a ball around the course in 102 ...?

I could probably.

Without the Hamm's?...probably more strokes.

The Twinks have given up five walks tonight.  Frustrating.

(And a bummer about the J's at the golf championships.  In the middle of the pack and about 20 strokes back.  Will need a PGA day tomorrow to stay in, I fear.)

TC - That picture of Ted "The Big Klu"  is so good, it was worth the wait.

Red Stripe - solid beer.  I like to imbibe on occassion.

Snoop, I have not been ocean fishing, but I will be in Mexico in T minus 19 days and plan on chartering a boat for a trip.  Looking forward to it.  ;D

In the month of May the VFW distributes Buddy Poppies.  Please take time to give a dollar and take a poppy.  The proceeds of this go to aid the Disabled Vets

In Flander's Field
by John McCrae
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow,
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky,
The larks, still bravely singing, fly,
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead.
Short days ago,
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved and now we lie,
In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you, from failing hands, we throw,
The torch, be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us, who die,
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow,
In Flanders Fields.

Good message KS.

Looks like the midnight smitemeister has been busy again. For the record, I'm in favor of fishing on lakes and oceans. I like Red Stripe, especially in Jamaica. I like Negro Modelo, especially in Mexico. I like Hamm's, especially. I like girls. And I like sports, including, but not limited to, football, baseball, hockey and golf.

Including pictures of girls in bikini's with your posts seems to help in the karma area. ;)

I'm not sure how long the actual photo would last here, but maybe a picture of a bra made from bacon would appeal to the posters.

Ocean fishing is fun if I've taken enough motion sickness medications...except it doesn't help when I trip over a rope in the middle of a huge wave and almost go overboard in the ocean outside of Australia.

Corona is good, Dos Equis Amber is much better.  Red Stripe is delicicious, as is Hamm's.
