Good point!  By a quirk of the schedule (which I despise), the Wings and Penguins have not met a single time all year - lousy for the regular season, but makes for an intriguing Cup.

Let's just hope that Osgood doesn't play like he did in the All-Star game since that would be the only time some of those Pens faced him this year!

I wouldn't get all hyped up about a dynasty for the Pens. There are other teams building pretty good squads, both in the East and the West.

You have to remember the Caps were without Nylander, Clark, and Pothier for much of the season. The hard part will be finding a place for all the centers - Backstrom, Nylander, Clark, Fedorov, Steckel, Laich. I might have missed a couple.

The amazing friggin' thing is that the election doesn't take place until after the Johnnies are already 8-0 coming off a victory over STO in Northfield.  Gagliardi's record will have improved to 461-122-11, the Johnnies will have already played for the golf MIAC championship and the fruit flies in CA will have advanced another 10 generations or so.

The one thing I say we don't talk about is the election, unless the intent of a post is to b*tch about the mind numbing length of the campaign cycle.  In which case who can't help but agree?
