It's been a while since we've had a new beer add here, so I present you with the latest from Carlton Draught: Skytroop Show.

(I gotta resort to this because tmerton has already grabbed this week's ribbon for Original Humor... and it's only Sunday for you guys.)

And, yes, this freakshow is happening in my backyard.  On my dollar.

How messed up is this kid?  God knows.  The only positive spin I can put on this is that it is one less person to compete with my girls for future employment.  Bloody Hell, as they say.

Nice to see the DR in front of that name.  Gives me hope for #2 son for two years from now.  Do you get some time off now or do you have to report ASAP?  Good luck and keep your head down!

I report June 12th. We're leaving Iowa with a full rental truck on Thurday morning and will be getting to San Diego sometime on the 1st (Sunday).

Tell your son it goes fast! He'll be there before you and he know it!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Looks like a Guinness ad gone wrong.

Went to see the new Indiana Jones movie tonight and found the trailers more interesting - including the one for the new movie "Australia" - I sh!t you not. http://www.australiamovie.net/  Anyway, maybe they'll include some scenes from some sex change operations! ::)  (Frankly, Oz, I'm suspecting this female to male stuff is nothing new in Oz-land and has been going on for quite some time.  How else do you explain the tight little unis they wear in ARF?)

Speaking of tight shorts...

Not much room to breath there.  Speaking of breathing, this picture may get TDT breathing a little heavily...

That being said, the tight shorts must be doing something for their luck considering the, uh, highlights of the MVP selection night each year...

(And I don't think Nick Riewoldt is smiling in that particular snap at that particular moment just because he was a potential winner last year...)

Love the new moniker, Dr. KR.  I assume the D3 Guru's had a hand in that since you were able to change it and maintain all your karma and posting credentials. The best of luck to you and your wife, thank you for your service and most importantly,  be safe!

Tmerton, +karma for the Kildare observation.  Started my day out with a chuckle!
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

Look,
he's only been a doctor one day, and he's already practicing his Rx writing skills. ;)

Congratulations, Dr. KR!

That's quite an accomplishment, for both you and your bride.

Safe travels as you make your way to the left coast. It should be a great trip, even pulling a rental truck.

BDB
HAPPY BIRTHDAY  :'(

BDB, not to mention condolences on Danica's fiasco of yesterday (many of us have trouble getting out of the pit).

Anyone see the PGA Tourney at Colonial? Gary McCord had a good line after someone hit a terrible shot. "That was Amy Winehouse ugly!"

Why does the Navy have such non-conforming officer ranks?

          NAVY[/b]            ARMY/MARINES
O-1        Ensign                                    2nd Lieutenant
O-2        Lieutenant JG                           1st Lieutenant
O-3        Lieutenant                               Captain

I won't go any further, because I get confused after this.

What do you mean non-conforming?  They all go from O-1 to O-10.  (The Navy potentially adds a O-6.5 during war time, but it's been a long while since there was a Commodore).

Don't forget that the captain of any ship is called "Captain" regardless of his rank.

If you want a real treat, do a comparison of the enlisted and warrant ranks.
