33 years on my behalf, mostly happy ones.

congrats Duff.......+k for ya,  You will learn that everything is always your fault, no matter who screws up.  Also watch out for, "I already told you that" or, "you never listen to me when I talk to you" and finally, "you never said that".  Always carry a recorder with you, just never play it for her, it just makes tings worse! ;)  Good Luck and have a great trip to Mexico, but remember, don't drink the Corona. ;)

Based upon OB's marriage track record, I guess you can look at Ob's advise in one of two ways, expert or worthless.

DM;  You should be so lucky as to have 3 brothers-in-law that you can actually get into trouble with... in my estimation it's your primary back-up reason for getting married.

I was thinking the same thing Dusty. Some guys to drink Hamm's with on Turkey Day is always a good thing.

A detailed agenda for your wedding day would be welcomed.... which church, where's the grooms dinner, where's the reception....

You forgot, "where's the honeymoon hotel.." so we can call up and cancel the reservations.  :-X   ::)   ;D

THE HORTH WHITHPERER

A guy calls his buddy, the horse rancher, and says he's sending a friend over to look at a horse.

His buddy asks, 'How will I recognize him?'

'That's easy; he's a midget with a speech impediment.'

So, the midget shows up, and the guy asks him if he's looking for a male or female horse.

'A female horth.'

So he shows him a prized filly.

'Nith lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth'?

So the guy picks up the midget and he gives the horse's eyes the once over.

'Nith eyeth, can I thee her earzth'?

So he picks the little fella up again, and shows him the horse's ears.

'Nith earzth, can I see her mouf'?

The rancher is getting pretty ticked off, but he picks him up again and shows him the horse's mouth.

'Nice mouf, can I see her twat'?

Totally mad as fire at this point, the rancher grabs him under his arms and rams the midget's head as far as he can up the horse's fanny, pulls him out and slams him on the ground.

The midget gets up, sputtering and coughing.

'Perhapth I should rephrase that. Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit'?

If times haven't changed that much, it's the 'chivaree' that you have to worry about.  :P

Same foreign country for me - Banff & Lake Louise - they were still Canadian then - not Japanese  :(

during planning our wedding, and me rebelling at every detail.... my wife and I agreed that she would take care of the wedding details, if I took care of the Honeymoon, and stayed out of the wedding details...

I decided to do it right, after a few months of investigation, I decided that we would spend a week in London and a week in Paris.   Nothing like a romantic European honeymoon...
I bragged what a great job I did and had all of the details worked out, including champagne on the flights etc....

After a flying in and spending a great week in London, taking the Chunnel and spending an equally wonderful week in Paris, an event occurred that I am still living down today...

As we got to the airport, I pulled out my itenerary only to realize, that I had booked the flights roundtrip ...FROM LONDON!.... :o

Now, every trip we take, I hear the same thing ....(Let me check the tickets)...

Ain't love grand    :)

Sabretooth Tiger

Love is indeed, grand, but don't change the subject, the topic is marriage.
;)

I'm a youngster, only 16 years with my future first ex.

so then, worthless is the correct response.  I never went to Redlands, and from everything you have had to say about UR, I guess my son made a good decision to leave.

No grooms dinner cause my witness came from out of town, JP on Grand Lake, Ace Bar and Cafe, Raddison South and a Twins game.
