When you have the polish and the grandeur with a keyboard like I do Prez, it does not take me long to produce computer magic.

Don't know where we're staying yet (suggestions anybody?), but I think we may be in good shape with the game tix through some "inside connections".  ;) ;)

RE: Hotel

Depends on the budget.  NYC in July is prime time.  The Twins stay at the Waldorf-Astoria on Park Avenue between 49th and 50th St.  Real real nice as you can imagine.  I stayed at the Westin last summer on W. 43rd St.  Just take the 4, B, or D Express Subway to 161st/Yankee Stadium.  This is the only way to go and the experience is always enjoyable.

Oh and FYI I just threw up some +K and some -K depending on if I like you or not!!!

Attn: Mayor

Have you seen/heard from our esteemed buddies L.L. Bean, Veek aka Little Wiener Doggie, or Ritz?  I will send out the search party if you deem it necessary.

Closed Circuit to Flash: There is a 83% chance of Touchdown Tommy coming to Alpine Valley in the very near future for one Mr. Jimmy Buffett and two his Coral Reefer Band.  Please advise Mrs. Flash to have her Hot Hangover Heaven meal prepared for TDT and his queasy stomach pals at a moments notice.

Thanks much,

The President

Mrs Flash isn't cool on that stuff, me on the other hand will be glad to host you boys with ample food and spirits at a locale of my choice. Only a phone call away 90% of the time, and only 20 minutes from Alpine Valley.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Don't worry - I think TDT is just angling for a $1 off coupon to Jack in the Box.

Thank God someone else finally thinks the Carlson towers look like a set of hooters! MrsKR always gives me that look when we drive by them and I mention the resemblance.

Anyone who's been married more than a half hour knows the look I mean.

A separated at birth bit from KQ's website: Sarah Jessica Parker and a horse.

Here's an unbiased review of Sex and the City:

Here's an unbiased review of the new Indiana Jones movie:
I think halfway through writing the script George Lucas forgot whether he was working on the next Star Wars or the next Indiana Jones movie and decided instead of reading the cover page to combine the two into a half-@$$ed rest of a movie completely un-true to the original movies.
The first half hour was good, next half hour was decent and the rest was just plain dumb and about as believable as TDT on a date with a girl.

Speaking of separated at birth:

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

This might be the time to find a porta-potty along the race route.  :P

It was indeed a great night of HD sports viewing last night. First, Mr. Magoo's lads put together a great comeback victory over the Spankees. Then one of the best hockey games in recent memory with the tying goal with 30 seconds to go and 3 OT's.
I don't want to ruin this feeling by watching any pumpkin-pushers this week.

If you want to stay in Manhattan then TDT actually gave some good advice.  If you want to save a little money you can stay in Jersey and take the train over to the NYC.  One option is stay in Weehawken and you will be right on the river and have a view of the NY skyline.  This is also nice because you can catch the NY Waterway ferry right there.  You could also catch the light rail there and go to Union City if you desire some authentic Latin American food, plus some nice little shops along Bergen Line Ave.

Another option is staying in Secaucus.  There are several hotels to choose from, you can catch a train to NY Penn Station from the Secaucus Junction Station.  There are also several nice places to eat here also, several chains and some fine regular restraunts (sp).

If you come on over to the LLPP and the NJAC board and let everyone know you are coming you should get more suggestions.

Any questions let me know.

Of course if you are looking for a room with special short stay rates or things like mirrored ceilings they are also in the area.  Any hotel with a Tonnelle Ave address or a route 1&9 address should fit this bill.

The Pens did a good job last night. The Wings couldn't close it out. I can't say I was that suprised because they did the same thing with the Sharks and the Stars. They need to work on their finish and they have two games to perfect it! :D

It is rough being Hal Gill's teammate. In this series alone he has injured Scuderi and Malone! In that respect, he reminds me of Chris Pronger (just ask Ryan Smyth and Teemu Selanne. They both have scars/missing teeth courtesy of Pronger when he was their teammate). Malone just recently got married...his wife isn't going to be able to recognize him!! ;D

Hey KR,

How is your wife doing? I hope you are taking good care of her. Moving sucks... moving and being pregnant can't be fun!  :)
