Happy Birthday Snoop Dawg. I know you didn't get the present you wanted last night, but your boys put up one hell of a fight!

I am sure that some of you will find this funnier than others...I thought it was hilarious! ;D

Bennie, I found it hilarious - +k!

I especially liked the dig about hockey players would have taken off two shifts for recovery! ;D

BDB

Good one bennie.

When I heard Woods had said that, I was surprised. He normally is pretty calculated, and doesn't make stupid ass statements like that.

fins, it is now I, BDB who is limbering up for the tush smack, as that glob of red has taken a more easterly track.  :P

Should be here about the time of the first pitch.  :-\

fins, bennie.....thanks, much appreciated.  +k for ya.  Today I turned double nickels or as some say, ten the hard way.   Still feel like I'm 18, at least emotionally.

The Pens played great, I still can't believe the last goal the RW's scored, what a fluke,
and how about the last ditch attempt by the Pens with tenths of a second left......wow....very exciting.

Lets hope the Lakers have better luck tonight.

Again, thanks for the well wishes guys.  BTW....How did you know?

I heard it on the news this morning right after the R. Kelly trial update. :'(

It's also on the calendar.

Bennie, is that letter legit, or a put on?

If you read the bit at the top (before the letter), it states that the NHL's real response was:
"The National Hockey League has enormous respect for Tiger Woods, for all his accomplishments and for his work with the community. We think he's a great golfer."

The letter is just basically what DJ Gallo thinks their response should have been.  :D

GF.........As always, thanks for the love.  What calendar?

snoop,

Go to the top of the page and click on 'calendar'.  It is evidently collected from those posters who have birthdates on their profiles.

Man, you are (proportionately) gaining on me!  You'll always be almost 5 years younger, but 50 years ago you were half my age; now you're nearly 92% of my age! :D

EDIT: Yep, it is automated from the profiles.  I just added my birthdate to my profile, and instantly was added to the calendar. :D

Since it's now Prime Time for you, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNOOP.

I play golf, and try to play hockey. Love them both, but I too think the letter is the proper response. In a contest of which sport is better to watch, I would put hockey toward the 9 out of 10, and golf around a 3. And I watch golf.

Happy Bday Snoop!!! Congrats on your set of nickels!

Congrats on 600 Gray Fox!

Happy Birthday Guy Bellair!!!

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

MR. Ypsi, KR, Klop,retagent.....thanks again guys.  Had a great day.  The wife got me some really nice fishing gear to go with the new boat.  Going to try it all out next weekend.  I really enjoy reading this board.  You guys keep it really entertaining and have a great sense of humor.  Now have to go sleep off the Mexican swill I so enjoy.

Please consider this a "history" post, not politics.  But if you get a chance, watch "Bobby" on Showtime tomorrow night (it's been on the last two nights).  For those of us who are children of the 60s and in Mr. Yipsi's longevity zip code, it will bring back a lot of memories - the music, LSD, etc.  It's good viewing.

Gene McCarthy was my guy in '68 (my earliest connection with SJU!) but I liked Bobby, too - even though I could not mention his name in my parents' home without provoking an argument.  I remember lying awake at home watching the CA returns come in, then Bobby's speech at the Ambassador, and then the shooting.  A week later I, too, was in California (reporting for duty on the USS Black (DD-666!)) and several years later got to walk through the Ambassador Hotel, which by then was long past its prime and close to its end.  Anyway, watch it if you can.  I'm pretty damn near a Republican by now but I do think RFK was special.

Happy birthday, Snoop.  I wish I was 55 again.
