You need to tell me when you're using dog years.  (As a sideways salute to Snoop, the SCIAC board was indeed almost morabund until he came along; Pat should give him a medal for the additional traffic he's brought to the boards.)

We lose money on the message boards, so I'll send him a bill instead. :)

BDB -- I sure couldn't suggest any volunteer didn't work hard enough, maybe it was the candidate.
Looking forward to my night away in Cheeseland. Hanging with BDB in Wisconsin is like hanging with Jimmy in Key West, or Benedict in Rome,...this is the Big Time baby, and free beer to boot.

One of the unintended consequences of Post Patterns is you can meet other drunks. I've found there are several people who will drink at the drop of a hat. Small world.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Who needs a hat?  ;D

I think all posters will be warmed in the heart to know that I had several photos from pre-game festivities in the slideshow at our reception.  Janesville Flash was even in one of the pictures ;D

Good people, except for TDT!  ;D

Sure, until you try to paint it.

I plan on painting as much of it as I can tomorrow.

Nice touch with the pics Duffman. I get the feeling you had a fun reception.

Why don't you place a banner add on the top of the page?  You practically have one already with the 'Boards logo'.  I don't think anyone would begrudge that and it looks to me like there is some free real estate right over the top of that Tommie (just make sure to miss the player in cardinal red).

Did you stick any video from any trap plays in the slideshow?

Sorry, I don't have video of myself laying around.  If you need to watch that play to get your jollies, that's your business, though :D

They just don't bring in much money on the boards. We tried it with double ads for several months, at top and bottom, and it didn't make a difference.

When people come to boards they tend to stay and read, not click away. And that's understandable -- I mean, we want people to stay and read too. :)

I'm OK with this being a loss leader, as it were. I just know that people think more controversy means more traffic which means more money but that isn't the case. Traffic costs too.

Yes, this photo is as bad as you may imagine it to be.  You'll have to click on it confirm that the heebee-jeebees you are potentially feeling are justified.

Has this woman ever heard of a pump?

There are definitely anti-depressant qualities while a woman is lactating.
KS has been an eyewitness to these.

Anti-depressant or not, there is no benefit to the kids and socially and psychologically it can be very detrimental to them. There is no scientifically proven benefit to breast feeding beyond age 12 months. There have been psychological studies showing negative effects to breast feeding beyond age 2.

Rule of thumb, if the kid is old enough to point to them, let alone ask for it they're too old to be breast feed. No kid should be able to remember breast feeding.

I have seen kids breast feeding that seemed to unbutton their mothers blouse and take a swig.  It made me scratch my head a bit.   ???

In honor of Madonna's falsely rumored divorce, I present a great clip from Guy Richtie's best movie, Snatch.

In this entertaining scene you will see OxyBob, playing the character Brick Top, discussing the definition of "nemesis" with SnoopDawg, who is dynamically playing the three characters of Sol, Vinny, and Vinny's Friend from the Docks.

Very strong language warning.
