Snoop, I've been locked out for a little bit on a password thing, but still enjoy reading this on a regular basis.  You seem to be a fairly reasonable guy on here, BUT I was noticing that you seem to have two main anatgonists that have come over to this board with you.  Point of notice from me is that while your karma hoovers around -300  (currently -302) the other two of whom I speak are at, respectively +577 and +639.  I guess after taking the long way around I am asking what gives?  It can't be from just those two and tends to make me question your credibility from the past.  Comments?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Fins - my vote would be for July 8th.  If we pick the 7th or 8th Zip might be interested in joining us as he will be in MN.  The 15th doesn't work for me.
Go Johnnies!!!

I will say that I have noticed the same thing.  I do find it funny that it has moved over onto this board.

+k tho Snoop, lets try to make it back to the -100's before the season starts!

Love the Tom T. Hall - one of the all time classics.

KR- Do you have your Circle me Jerk sign ready? We'll watch for you on TV tonight.

No sign, didn't want to bring it to the bar beforehand!

Great seats, 3 rows behind the Twins dugout directly even with the front of the 3rd base coaches box.

Highlights of the game:
1. Hollared at Redmond before the game and got a thumbs up and a good pic of him.
2. Morneau tossed a ball right to me at the end of the 3rd inning and I caught it. Had to box out a 1-legged man to catch it though... I'm not making this up. Morneau looks right at me, tosses it and the 1-legged man pops up and tried to catch it.
3.  Just found out from the in-laws that we were circled by Bert towards the end of the game!
4. Walking up to the dugout and looking in and seeing the Twins players hanging out.
5. Gomez is fast. He even looks fast just walking, hell he looks fast standing still!
6. By the end of the game there were about 5,000 left, mostly Twins fans. By the time the last Twin left the field, there were still 300+ in our section cheering. We even cheered Harris and Gomez in the post-game interviews.
7.  Watching the 1-legged guy in front of me literally buy something from every food vendor that came by during the 2nd through5th innings. The thought crossed my mind that "He's eating like he has a hollow leg." I'm pretty sure I'll go to hell for that one!
8. $8.25 beer. Not really worth it but still pretty damn good.

SJU grad Dold lands Macalester assistant job.

Where is everyone?  Still hung over from celebrating the Fresno State victory in the College World Series ... or pining away in anticipation of the Twinkies' visit to San Diego and KR's eventual confrontation with San Diego's finest ("Officer, I am a doctor and a Naval officer, and I would never that kind of thing - at least not in public ...")?

No conflicts. Talked to a cop on the way out who said the Twins fans were "among the most passionate yet well-behaved fans" he's seen in 20 years of working the Padres games.

At $8.25 a beer, I can't afford to get too happy!

Besides I had to start my internship at 0730 this morning. In addition to normal week days this week and next I get to spend all day and night Sunday and on the 4th at the hospital :-\

BTW: I'll place a call shortly for KR.  He musta got TANKED last night to have not made a late night (West Coast) drunken post discussing one the virtues of Mr. Guy Bellair and two his undying love for Mr. Joe Mauer.

You never called ya bastard. Pretty weak sauce to go from planning on coming to go to the game to not even calling for an update!

MrsKR has a huge crush on Joe Mauer. Every 15 minutes she asked me if I was taking "enough pictures of Mauer."  ???

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

snoop dawg

Jans...........very funny, where do you find your stuff, +k

retagent.....I went 7 on a par 3 and 8 on a par 5.  I normally birdie or par both holes.  Talk about a choke.  I lost the club championship becasue of those two holes.

Dearest Kilted Rat,

Other than 8 and a frickin' quarter for a damn beer, how could any baseball game experience be any better than what you had?  ???

I think you may have hit the peak, me boy!  8)

I heard on the news that Wheeler's autopsy report noted that he died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Shoudn't that have been fairly obvious?  :o

Yeah, but when anyone dies at the hands of the police or in police custody they have to do an autopsy to prove the bullets got him before a stroke or heart attack did.

I've read autopsy reports where a perfectly healthy 19 year old kid flew off a motorcycle and hit a tree at 85 MPH and they still had to do the autopsy to officially determine the cause of death was "Massive trauma."

It was phenomenal! I'm still smiling about it!

Ethics question for the MIAC PP

Should I feel bad that I caught the ball while boxing out a 1-legged man?

I was the only one standing when Morneau looked and he tossed it directly towards me and then he hopped up.
But at the same time, part of me feels like I beat my little brother in basketball by blocking all his shots.

You'll get over the guilt.  You're just starting your active service.  If at the end of your time the worst you have done is play rough with Blackbeard at a Twinks game, then you'll be a rare sailor indeed.

Just noticed the Rick Dold article, wtf, he is on my mens softball team!

Of course he has only shown up for 2 games all year, perhaps that explains it a bit.

He has got a decent stroke and can pitch a bit, but boy is he slow, and sometimes plays in sweat pants and a big baggy sweater.  Good luck MAC.

George Wheeler and Adolph Hitler

Didn't you post this about 5 pages back? ... or maybe I'm having a flashback.  Posting these pictures of der Fuhrer is going to get me wondering about you, BDB. He gives Germans a bad name.

Speaking of Germans, one of the local PBS stations had a good show on earlier this week - part of a series called Germans in America.  The show was about Germans who settled around Fredericksburg, Texas.  Pretty interesting.  I'm now waiting for the one about German beer making monks in central Minnesota.

KS knows what you mean.  KS dated a woman in college who loved Paul O'Neil.  She used to like to sit in the right field bleachers in Yankee Stadium just so she could stare at and take pictures of his butt.
