Have you lads invited Natalie Gulbis to your golf soiree yet?  ???  ;)

Wow.  I gotta stop flicking the tube every time I see LPGA flash on the screen.

KS had this hanging on the wall in his room while KS was in HS.

Ethics question for the MIAC PP

Should I feel bad that I caught the ball while boxing out a 1-legged man?
I was the only one standing when Morneau looked and he tossed it directly towards me and then he hopped up.
But at the same time, part of me feels like I beat my little brother in basketball by blocking all his shots.

Let's consider that you are a young, strapping man in the prime of your life, with countless years of enjoyment ahead of you. The one-legged man on the other hand may very well have been trying enjoy himself for the last time in his life. Getting that ball just could have been the highlight of his life, a memory he would have taken to his grave. (probably a pauper's grave at that)

Having said that, I would have probably knocked the son of a bitch over if I had to in order to get the ball.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Ok.... knucklehead here decides to do a search in youtube for "one legged man".

I wasn't sure what I would find, but I didn't expect this.

It's Friday night there, right?  Shouldn't you be out howling at the moon or something?

The WSJ has an article today, with an imbedded video, about the Combine Derby in Milroy.  WSJ article.  This, of course, intrigued the locals.  So, who's going to the Derby tomorrow?  Talk about a good excuse to drink beer. 8)

I think it is OK as long as you didn't :

1.    Spill his beer;
2.    Steal his beer;
3.    Push him over the railing.

As a kid, I saw a guy catch a foul ball in a popcorn cone, the guy next to him grabbed the cone, ripped it apart and then they went at it.  The cops had to break it up and eject both of them.

BTW, Oz, this reminds me of the one I saw last year from the southern hemisphere (our southern hemisphere, not yours) - it's a bit more quaint but still not shabby.

Could be an interesting evening tonight folks. It seems that this is reunion weekend at CSB, and lots of old hens from ROR's class have pre-registered. I plan on setting up shop at the LaPlayette tonight in case any of them wander in, I can check out how gray their hair is, etc. Many alums from later years will, no doubt, be exposed to the Finsleft wit and charm (which always seems to turn up a notch at the La).

I used to have this shirt...it went over hilariously...then one day it mysteriously disappeared
