BDB

An oompa loompa isn't a bad thing to be BDB. My middle son had his 1st role at age 4 as an oompa loompa. He auditioned for a non-speaking role because, of course, he couldn't read yet. They called him in with the part and handed him a script. Huh? So I read the OL parts into a tape recorder so he could listen to it over and over and over...
I still remember most of it, 15 years later.

Augustus Gloop, Augustus Gloop,
the great big greedy nincompoop.
How long can we allow this beast,
to gorge and guzzle, feed and feast
on everything he wanted to?
Great scot, gadzooks, that wouldn't do.....

Agreed fins. I told her you couldn't have the play without oompa loompas!

Maybe she thought she would be cast as a newspaper sports writer.  ;D

Shut up Frank, that was a practice swing.
I always remember the words of my golf instructor: "Swing really hard in case you hit it."
Here's one:

Not sure I've ever seen anyone line up his ball so close to his back foot for a drive.  Trying to deal with a duck hook? ::)

Kenny:  "He's using the grease!"
Speck:  "Grease don't help a duck hook."

Anyone know the movie?

What is "Dead Solid Perfect"?

Twins are keeping it interesting sucking today.

Touchdown Tommy

Clark: 2 words.  Camera Angle.  BTW: We are gonna have to have a chat.  You've been sweatin' The President way too much this offseason.  Almost to the level of Top TDT hater 57 Johnnie...

Many thanks to Finsleft for arranging the game and for the exquisite hospitality.  Look for a new addition to the Johnnie Tailgate Party this season...

Ok here are a few pics for the enjoyment of the regulars...

First, Veek and Finsleft enjoying a cold refreshing Hamm's before teeing off...

Next, the Mayor finds the rough (not a rare occurence MIACPP)...

Then, the Mayor showing his Polish and Grandeur while grunting like he was dropping an enormous Deuce...

Well, Veek had a tough day.  He lost probably 30 balls.  Here he is seen in the distance in the golf cart retreating to the previous hole to locate his Sand Wedge which he forgot to pickup after 37 "wacks" in the bunker...

Finally, the Little Wiener Doggie stripes one down the middle...

Questions??

Chasing MILFs since '82...

Show your prowess - Beer Slogans - the game.

Warning - the game is fundamentally flawed - as you will notice immediately.

Are you kidding?  Let's see, let's see ... Hmmm.  Sorry, I don't even remember thinking about you. ;D  I haven't mentioned Bud Light since last summer and I only thought about the irony of your mentioning someone else dropping a deuce (I'd never openly post such a comment).  I'll have to read 57's posts more closely to see how he got into first place.  Frankly, given the competition, I don't see how he gets top ranking.

I'll have to read my posts to see how I got into first  ??? Never been in 1st place for anything before. I'm a Tommy hater not a Touchdown Tommy hater.  :D As I recall my last post about TDT complimented him.  ;)
In any case you have to respect the office.

The older the violin - the sweeter the music!

Veek

Fins - thanks for the hospitality yesterday.  I had a great time and am looking forward to doing it again soon.

For the record, I never lost 30 balls.  Twenty would be more realistic and one dozen would have been accurate had I not taken multiple shots over that found water every swing.

Buckwheat and Frank - nice seeing both of you again.  Let's keep golf outings on the agenda.  Especially since Frank will most likely only be able to make it to one Stiftungsfest this year when the J's pound his Gusties.  Let me know the time and the place and I'll be there.

Fins stated that I can always be on his team which I was happy to hear as most people wouldn't say that after witnessing my stellar game.  My soft 3 and 5 woods really came through, however.

Go Johnnies!!!

I see the Twins game today wasn't quite the pitching duel that Monday's game was.  8)

I think it only looks as if he has the ball positioned off his right foot because of the angle the picture was taken from. I'm rather impressed with the "lag" shown at what looks like the beginninng of the downswing.

Looks like the mayor was in British Open type rough....could he have been that astray with his tee shot?

Looks like the boys had a great time.  I'm jealous.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Great golfing movie.  Randy Quaid's GF going to get more Ice at the hotel.  I see that actress all the time now on TV commercials and it just makes me laugh after her full frontal in that movie.  +K
