I think if you were on patrol and pulled this yahoo over you might be calling in for backup.

I assume none of the lawyers posting here use this tactic to build sympathy for a client during a press conference...

"US lawyer David Remes, who represents 16 Yemeni prisoners held at Guantánamo Bay, takes his trousers off during a press conference. He was demonstrating the mistreatment suffered by his clients."

(Didn't his mom tell him to always wear clean undies because you just never know what will happen?  On further consideration (but not closer inspection) it may be a shadow that I saw, but I don't think so...)

If anyone is in the market for a DVD up-converter for $100 (less than half the Amazon price), this one is a pretty solid pick up.

By the way, the KR TV shopping sweepstakes finally has a winner:

The 50" Pioneer Kuro!

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Just a reminder that tonight at the Chaska baseball park it is MIAC Night. The Cubs play Victoria with game time 7:30 p.m. Wear something with your college name on it and get into the game free. Stiftungsfest burgers and Ruck's pork patties will be served. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

Even better news for JJR! No one filed against me for my judicial seat. There will be a post-election party in November.

JJR, You must be doing something right! Congratulations. Running unopposed is a beautiful thing. My first two elections I ran unopposed!

I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Talk about your demonstrative evidence!

Congrats on the purchase, KR. Now you can turn into a real troglobite.

It was quite a week in NYC for that Jason Morneau kid, wasn't it?

I just wish that Jason had gotten it done in the 8th or 9th so I could've gotten more sleep.  ;)

Steinbrenner really looked old. I thought he was better off than that.

George has not been looking good for the last year or possibly more.  He rarely is seen in public now.  As big an ass as he is at times it is sad to see someone who was always vibrant and active slide like that.  Yogi is looking good though.  I was surprised to see Willie McCovey in a wheelchair.  I guess it is just sad to see the heros of your youth get old.

edited to fix typo.

I can't hear Willie McCovey's name without recalling the story an ex-brother-in-law told me. Ex-BOL was a bat boy for the SF Giants as a kid, and Willie was famous for being, well, hung. Visitors to the clubhouse would always try to steal a look at Willie coming out of the shower.

This story, of course, then reminds me of Blazing Saddles: "It's twue, it's twue...

No but they might be related, right Snoop?

Speaking of law and body parts, now I'm reminded of my Remedies professor in law school who, in explaining the "de minimis" rule to us, used the following limerick:

There was a young lawyer named Rex,
Who had a peculiar perversion for sex,
When arrested for exposure,
He said with composure,
"De minimis non curat lex"
