Ok, first, I e-mailed Veek and asked him about the golf and told him I would be up in that area (well a little North in Bemidji) and to let me know about the time and location. He e-mailed me back and said that since I was going to have limited computer access, he would have TDT call me, as TDT has my number. Guess what, no call! I figure (incorrectly) that TDT would actually call me-what was I thinking?
I would appreciate if you guys could work out a simple phone tree and prevent this sort of tragedy in the future.
Thank you-Polish King.

I emailed the Polish King and explained the events that transpired and I accepted the blame for not notifying him.  Now our lives can hopefully return to normal.
Go Johnnies!!!

You don't see this every day.  My folks  sent me a video of one of the stranger things to happen in the North Woods, or at least at their house, and it's too odd not to share.

Home on the Range.  (Best watched in High Quality)

Thanks for the interest. I got a new HP on which Vista is preloaded. It was my understanding that all new PCs have it now. I had Me on my Dell. I am getting acclimated, so it really isn't too life changing. We'll see if there are any insurmountable problems. I just downloaded the drivers for my printer, but haven't installed them yet. If that goes without a hitch, I should be OK.

Twins looked STRONG tonight. Livan pitched a ho hum game, Gomez looks to be coming out of his slump, Young is HOT. Redmond came in late and had a 14 pitch at bat and got a hit and a standing "O"

You can still order Dell's with XP, but I assume that once they finally work the bugs out of Vista that they will start to discontinue updates and such for XP so it is probably better to just go with Vista.

Of course, that might be a while.

There's the old line: The first time Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is when they go into the vacuum cleaner business.

RE: Livan ... agree with PC. Not only a solid outing against a good lineup (although I only saw stats and not game), but the Twins got him for innings and they seem to be getting that, plus some clubhouse help for the young arms.

He's in the league's top 20 in IP, right there with Sheets and Verlander and ahead of guys like Cliff Lee, Pettitte and Zambrano.

I really meant the "Ho Hum" as a compliment. As in no scary moments.

What kind of car do you drive KR? And how do you avoid the CHP driving between SF and San Diego in 5 hours? :D

OK, so 7 hours. I was just guesstimating.

I do drive a pretty damn sweet 97 Chevy Cavalier with 157,000. Best car I've ever owned and at 27MPG city and 35 highway I can't afford to get rid of it any time soon.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Are you quizzing us on our knowledge of recent decisions by the Oz high court?  Seems like an only in Oz-land question to me, Oz. 8)

Neither, they are both freaks.

I just thought it was a nonsensical question that Ritz could ponder as he tried to sleep.  You intrigued me enough to do a google search, however, and I find that this question has not been addressed in Oz but in Japan:

Diet set to let parents change sex on registry.

No question is too obscure.
