I was sound asleep when I heard a loud thud. Come to find out it was snoop dropping another name.

Jimmy Clausen approves this post.

Somewhere, on some message board, in some other universe, Kevin Garnett is posting his sighting of Snoop in that same restaurant. ;D

But I will agree it is pretty shocking the first time you stand next to a 7ft tall person, when you're 5'11.  Damn they are tall.

Someone deleted my Barbie pic!

Snoop, sometimes the host site (where you found the pic) won't allow it to be linked for very long, or something like that.

Shouldabeen: MIACPP Bizzarro World?  ???  You mean it's possible that on some message board, in some other universe, Anna Kournakova and Danica Patrick are posting pictures of BDB?  :o

You have blown my mind, man!  ;D

I just dropped off my morning constitutional and I'll be damned if Colonel Sanders wasn't there handing me a couple extra sheets to wipe with 8)

Fixed it for ya!

I guess this also means that in some Universe, the Twins are sitting around talking about which one of us they would trade to another board and the designated poster this board needs to move to the next level :-\

Yes.  But not likely in SNOOPWORLD cause I doubt you're a big enough celebrity to have enough gravity to live in SNOOPWORLD.

BTW I feel bad to be bashing Snoop because in a contest between he and OMB.....

I once saw the Bulls waiting for their charter at Logan back wheen they had Cartwright, Stacy King, Wil Perdue et al. I didn't see MJ, . I had the same reaction. Intellectually you know what 7' is, but when you see a bunch of them around that height, it's rather a shock to the system.

Yes it is.  One time when the NBA development league was going on, I was standing on the corner of 6th and Hennepin when one of the player walked up and stood to my right.  My wife, who is 5'0 was on my left.
Must have looked like three bars on the cell phone.

When I was still a young lad of about 14, my grandparents took the whole family to Disney World to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

One day I was sitting at the pool (read: staring at boobs through reflective lens aviators) when my mom came up to me and said, "Come here, I want you to meet someone!"

Usually this meant some old lady who used to have a son my age who my mom had started blabbing to about nothing. So I asked, "Who is it?"

"I think it's Magic Johnson!"

So I get kind of excited and head with her to meet one of the greatest point guards of all-time!

It turned out to be Ervin Johnson. What a difference an "a" makes!

Regardless we have a picture of me standing next to him sitting on a pool chair about 8 inches off the ground and he's still a good 4 inches taller than me.

In retrospect, I guess I should be impressed that my mom put the name E(a)rvin Johnson and Magic Johnson together.

I've been away for the weekend so I am just checking around the interwebs now.  You all may have already seen this, but I notice that Frank Rajkowski says that a freshman RB, Harry Awe, has been named the "national newcomer of the year."  Named by who or what?  I got no idea.  The award isn't even capitalized.  Is it a semi-joke award that Gagliardi gives out?  Does anyone have a clue on this?

I think it is by Lindy's.

I think I mentioned that I saw Awe play several times over the past few years as Minnehaha is in our conference (I have a LOT of tape on him).  He is a good, physical player, not afraid of contact, with decent speed, and a knack for not shying away from the big hit-- but quick enough to avoid most tackles.  I was surprised to hear of him heading to SJU since, when I was talking to his coaches, Ivy League was mentioned as a possible destination for him.

But their loss is our gain!

Do keep in mind, however, that the Tri-Metro isn't exactly the most physical of conferences-- so take that into account on his stats.

FYI    KUBIACK sent me a very funny picture of Favre with a baby face to share with the board. Unfortunately I lack the ability to post it.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Spent the weekend in  beautiful Appleton Wi.. Wasted 2 hours talking to a gorgeous 20 yr. old bartendress, then she told me I should go home and go to bed. Does that count as "almost getting laid?" TDT?

Snoop, I saw Bret Favre, he said to say Hi.

Back in the day I think the Tri-Metro was better known for their hockey fights.... allright, let's get this party started.
