Cripes, I can't believe kick-off is 3 days away!  Where has the summer gone?  I actually put pants (as opposed to shorts) on to take the dog out this morning  :'(

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

Touchdown Tommy

Big news outta Chula Vista, CA coming soon.  Dusty SJU has really outdone himself this time.  He must be still recovering from a big night at the RNC...

Closed Circuit to the Mayor: I'll be picking up the slack for Veek this week (Ho hum what is new).  I have approximately 2-3 dozen specialty brats that I'll be bringing.  Make sure the Kool-Aid is cold and don't let LBean beat you out to Collegeville (pretty embarrassing since he comes from St. Paul).
Chasing MILFs since '82...

Looks like things are going smoothly in St. Paul.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I was going to make a smart a$$ remark about not being married long enough to know who wears the pants but Johnnies (esp DLs) are NOT slow learners.  8)

Mr. Shoes has out done himself www.JohnnieFootball.com 2.0 edition

Yes.  Very nice.  And I don't care about the print formatting.  ;)

Nice try, Oz, but I'm not taking the bait.  JF.com has made a definite contribution and besides, Mr. Shoes is still working on the web site improvements. I'll merely suggest that JF.com will want to avoid the Microsoft upgrade paradigm (i.e., lots of sizzle and smoke but no steak). ;)

Article in the west side fish wrap factory sports about Berg and Winford from Augsburg today.

It will be interesting to see the receivers in this conference this year.  There is some good talent in the conference between Winford, Arlt, and Frank.  I see Winford blowing the rest away stats wise though.  He will be getting the ball a lot again this year i am guessing.

Getting ready for opening game in... 3... i mean 10 days for Carleton.  Bye week for the opener?  What a joke.

Mr. President:
Don't you worry your little plums about the koolaid. It'll be good and it'll be cold. I'll be expecting big things in the brat department. Hopefully we'll see LBean and his wide-wale corduroys with field jacket and binoculars. He's getting busy dealing with the bad guys down in St. Paul, and I don't mean Bush and Cheney, they didn't bother to show.

That's what my wife said.  Somehow, she still married me.

Was waiting for someone to pounce on that line. She doesn't call you "Cocktail Weenie", does she?

I took Bethel in the WIAC Pick 'em over UW-Eau Claire.

Silly me. It's Bethel in Tennessee.   :P

No wonder I usually finish at the bottom.  :-[

Hey, Oz - I wonder if this works with your floppy Aussie dollars. :D
