Well, a big deciding factor for our performance against the Cobbers will be Crees.  The last couple years we would complain (some louder than others, not calling anyone out Zip) about number 11 not being 100% in the clutch, his best clutch performance being his first game.

I've got a good feeling on Crees, based more on wishful thinking and blissful ignorance than anything else, and I hope he's Mr Monday Night for us.  Any chance that my hopes of seeing a Johnnie team with great guts in the heat of the match are good hopes?

No one, and I mean no one comes into our house and pushes us around.

No way Cobb wins.

Superior Johnnie talent, tenacious D and savage running game.  Look for John G. to take page from Steve Johnson playbook and dominate time of possesion.

Collegeville fans depart Clemens chanting "Hail to the Johnnies!"

If'n your all looking for a distraction, here's a short story about Megan Fox.  Most suitable for teenage boys and married men, but SFW.

What's this - bedtime reading for the little Oz girls? :o  I suspect it's a good think Mrs. Oz doesn't patrol these boards.  :D

Dusty SJU,  in 2006 Bethel came into your house and not only pushed you around, they flat out bullied you guys and gave you a physical beatdown.

I agree with Dusty.  Their offense continues to look completely rush oriented.  90% of their receiving yardage from their WR's has come from one player so far this year.  Look what we did with UWRF star receiver last week.  Nelson is completing 50% of his passes with 3 int's despite the fact that 40% of his completions have been to backs.  Ugly passing so far.

So, I can see where a repeat of last year is possible in terms of the defense holding them to 2 TD's.  I think it would take a total collapse of the offense to lose this game.

Has anyone seen a 2008 Media Guide?  No sign of it at gojohnies.com (it's usually up before the first game).

The MIAC media guide is available at the MIAC website.

Thanks CC- we've been looking for that to update www.JohnnieFootball.com "Team" tab. I'm sure Mr. Shoes will be on this like a Tommie to a Domino's Pizza "Career Fair"
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Just watching some of the Johnnie highlights from the UWRF game.  Something struck me as funny.  Everytime Crees dropped back to pass, the crowd yelled "PASS" and when he threw it "BALL".

Probably doesn't make much difference, but usually the team on defense yells this, as it lets the d-backs know the ball is coming.   :o

Duffman;  Those "cheers" were emanating from the UWRF sideline.... kinda like in Europe where they yell for anything!

Great to get that game video so far this season (almost as good as boat/fish shots).

Silly,
In August (2008) your mom came into your room and not only pushed you around, she flat out kicked you to the basement, then she made you shave her moustache.

Speaking of beatdowns and moustaches:

Separated at Birth???

Here's the ironic part besides the concept of a 37 year old Gus Frerotte who had a 58.3 QB rating last season, starting as QB. He was dumped by the Dolphins a year ago in favor of bringing in Daunte Culpepper.  ;D

+k all around. This is hilarious.

They did have a very loud sideline, including some of the assistant coaches, especially their defensive coordinator.

Cobbernation is going to bring some sweet corn to the Stiftungsfestivities this Saturday. He needs a pot for the corn and a heating source. Anyone out there who can help us with this? Let me know. Thanks.

I can bring the cooker.
Is propane allowed on campus, or only in the back rooms of the Abbey? What about corn?
