Twins up 1-0!  The rout is on!

OK.  If this goes south then cobbernation is singularly responsible for the negative mojo that killed the Twins this year.  I feel sorry for your karma, dude.

EDIT:  Oh, man.  You are in big trouble now.

EDIT II:  DAMN YOU, COBBERNATION!!!!!!

EDIT III:  I think some Charlton Heston is called for.

Shame on you Beaver, you let Eddie get you all wound up for nothing.

Gee I didn't get to watch much of the game. Did anybody see how Delmon did tonight?

Fins, he was a  0 fer, should we trade him for a 23rd round draft choice in the 2012 amateur draft?

Cobbernation, you are off the hook - for now.

I was just trying to make things exciting, in which I succeeded!  Go Twins!

So, here are the possbilities at the end of Sunday

Both Twins and Sox have same record after the last three wins:  Twins 1/2 ahead, makeup game needed.

Sox win one more game than Twins:  Sox lead by 1/2 game; makeup game needed.

Twins need to win at least one more game than the Sox and they win the division.

Twins would have to lose two or more games than the Sox for it to be over on Sunday.

The only way the Twins end up in a playoff game with the Sox is if the Sox have to play the makeup game with the Tigers.  Which should put us at an advantage.

"The play of the week may have come from senior wide receiver Bryan Busack, who made a one-handed grab on a pass from Joe Boyle during Wednesday's practice. Boyle has been getting the bulk of the reps with the first team."
That's good.  While I favor Boyle because of his mobility and size, he does look like the least accurate thrower of the three so some of those one handed catches are going to be needed.

BTW for TDT.  Due to my proximity to the UST campus and stadium, I have seen Greg Morse working out on his own a lot in the evenings with some of the receivers.  Is it a good thing when a 6' 5" Fr D3 QB can accurately throw the ball 50 yards with very little body motion and very low trajectory?

I like Boyle's athleticism, but he's gonna get himself killed.  He's got to learn to protect himself!

I thought that was the O'line's job. ;)

Good ideas Fins in your Sizzle column on johnniefootball.com .  Here is another idea on how to use the QB's.  If we go with Hansel, maybe we could also put Boyle in there at a RB spot occasionally.  Might be a way of using the strengths of both QB's at the same time and get away from the predictability.

And we will be playing the one and only cd of Paris Hilton.  :D

JR, since you are the only fan of the P. Hilton CD, I'm wondering if perhaps someone is blackmailing you into playing it for the rest of us?    I am willing to request a Stearns County deputy sheriff show up tomorrow morning  if you wish to make a police report.    Let's ID this blackmailer and get his (or is it a her?) photo on tomorrow evening's America's Most Wanted.
