Everyday is payday in paradise.

Well that blew.

In retrospect, we should have beamed AJ in the coconut every at bat. Wouldn't have really helped with the outcome, but I would have enjoyed seeing it happen.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Dang it...Kubes is my boy...I don't like that call lefthanded pitcher or not...gotta go with Kubes I think...alright Twins let's do work tonight!
Good bat to have available against Jenks in the 9th.

Too bad Kubel couldn't come through in the ninth.  However, Jenks did throw a pretty nasty pitch for the strikeout.  Oh well.  The wild are just getting started!

I though Kubel was going to line one into the right field seats.  :P

That was a nasty pitch he struck out on, but he had laid off that same pitch the pitch before.

Just checking in to see how you boys are doing after last nights game.  Do you need someone to hide the razor blades or turn off the gas to the stove?  Maybe a case of Hamm's to drowned your sorrows?  Tough loss for the Twinkies and their fans.
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

That's the way it goes; not anywhere near as bad as a Johnnie loss.  The future sure looks better this year than it did same time last year.  TC, who on the roster might we lose that we would want to keep?

Well that blew.

Thanks for the chuckle this morning KR.  ;D

This past week, with everybody and their brother wearing Twins stuff all over the place, even here in western Wiscy, I've been thinking about what that usher/security guard said to you as you were leaving the Padre game a couple months ago.  8)

Fact is the Twins did themselves and their fans proud this year. Now it's time to find a big bat to get in the line-up.

CCKnight

The twins did do a whole lot better this year than I was expecting at the beginning of the year, still a bummer that they could get no offense going last night.  Hopefully they do get a big bat (3B or DH) this offseason, but they've been needing one for years and haven't done anything.  With the new stadium around the corner maybe they can do better than Mike Lamb and the other retreads they continually pick up only to last part way through the season.

At least it is Ole week for the knights.  I think they probably have a better shot at beating them this year than they've had the past few as Northfield Community College seems a little down this year.  It would be nice to finally see the eagle pointed in the right direction for a change.

any news on if Flannery is able to go this week?

who is getting the nod at QB for the royals as well?

Haven't heard anything on either subject, but as far as QB, I would guess its a toss up as none of the 3 that have had significant playing time have been very impressive.  I think that saturday will be a struggle for Bethel unless their offense really gets things figured out this week.
