MillerCoors ends production of Zima

"Distributors are being asked to put products from caffeinated alcoholic beverage Sparks on retail store shelves to make up for Zima's absence.

Caffeinated alcoholic beverage?  For use when one addiction at a time just isn't enough?  Bad news: you still drive like a wasted monkey.  Good news: you're an upbeat and excited monkey.
Is that like mixing Viagra with Valium ???

Nice article by Adam.  And his story about the night the suburban police got called in to sub for the St. Paul police ... and then took on the Mac party kids ... was priceless.

You have to see this video.  Could a defensive end have done a better job than the ref did of stopping this play?  Unbelievable. :o

I would be embarassed to be leveled by a ref.  He totally took that dude out!

The player on the far right #9? looks absolutely stunned that his team"mates" would violate the honor code like that; and on the football field ::) ::)

Why haven't we heard anything about the lack of visitor seating at St. Thomas?  Perhaps the problem was just lack of seating in general as the Johnnie faithful appeared to take up half of the main stands.

If Bethel decided to disallow tailgating, I'm sure we would never hear the end of it.   Do we have any football fans in charge of the Johnnies or the Tommies?  No T-shirts, no tailgating, no beer.   It seems the catholics and protestants are moving in opposite directions in the lifestyle policy arena, and they may have already passed by each other.

Because UST does not try and herd us into one small section of stands like Bethel does.  There were still plenty of seats available at 12:30; comparable to the situation at Collegeville.  Tailgating will need to be addressed, as it will be an increasing demand for both the home fans and visitors.

Rebounding off last weeks heartbreaker against gustavus I think this Carleton comes out firing on saturday.  Carleton needs to win these next 2 games to have a shot at the title coming down to the end of the season.  The offense is clicking and will be healthy again.  This team has nothing to lose and I expect them to come out playing like it.

Worst Case Scenario: 5-5 best season in many years. Bright future ahead.
Best Case Scenario:  9-1 best season ever. Who needs the future.

Score on Saturday:

CAR 34   STU  21

I'm predicting a missed extra point by Carleton.  Pretty hard not to.
