Speaking of bad news, Dubay is admitting using crack instead of meth.

Like that's a step up or something.  :P

I like this line at the end: It's not clear yet if he'll return to the airwaves. KFAN's program director says he can't comment on personnel matters.

Remaining unclear is why the program director's opinion of who he should employ is a personal and not business matter.  Oh, I get it.  He's absolving himself of all responsibility in making a decision on the suitability of this guy to work for him.  It's up to the druggie to decide.  Nice.  I got to get me a job like that.

Minnesota has some very confusing law with regard to employment and addiction to illegal drugs.  Whereas the ADA does not give an exemption for it, the Minnesota Human Rights Act does, as long as the employee can still perform the essential functions of his job.  So my guess is legal told the program staff to refer all questions to legal and make no comment otherwise.

How celebrities would look if they lived in North Dakota.

Jennifer Aniston           Brittany Spears            Pamela Anderson

So I ask myself, why is BDB ragging on North Dakota ... then it comes to me ... hockey? ???

No tmert. That's what the pictures are titled where I found them.

Here's a couple male North Dakotans:

John Travolta        Tom Cruise           Johnny Depp

dude... travolta and cruise always look like that.

Going for some Okie Noodling, 57?

DuffMan

Noodling is f'ed up!  I would never try that even if it were legal in MN.

Last night's catch for Duff:

Not the biggest, but it was a nice night to be on the river!

A tradition unrivaled...

I have special dispensation from the Pope (My wife) to go to SJU vs. STO this Saturday in Northfield.  Maybe I can assist all you other Stiffy-fest attendees in fomenting anarchy on the STO campus.   I'm sure the rent-a-coproaches will need something to do.

That's hilarious.  That must be Travolta pre-hair transplant.

Here are some suggestions:

there's a sh*tty piece of "artwork" on campus.  It's a bunch of bikes painted white and put together as a statue.  Try driving your car into it.

Try drinking a beer in the cage (inside buntrock commons (our student union thing)).  You would definitely get a reaction, and would probably get to meet all of the rent-a-parking-ticket-dispensers (seriously.  that's all they do.) that way.

OzJohnnie

Just because it's Thursday and one can never have too much of German beer girls...

As much as I enjoyed BDB's pics, I have to admit it's hard to beat babes and beer.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Seems late in the week and no one is talking about football.  Are people so concerned about their teams games that they don't want to banter back and forth with the opposition?

Hamline played both Bethel and Augsburg close, is Saturday the day they come thru?

Are the Tommies PO'd enough about last week to take it out on the Knights?

Will the Ole's revert back to their ole ways and play with a chip on their shoulders? (maybe personal fouls were not so bad)

Maybe even GAC suprises everyone and wins two big ones in a row.

This weekend could see big changes in the MIAC race.

I've given up hope, realistic hope, for the J's making the playoffs.  I'll support whomever does go, of course, but I am bummed in that I think the MIAC will take a first round exit.  Oh well, then I can cheer for Linfield if they make it.    Personally, I found BDB's pictures a lot more entertaining than the Johnnie games I've watched this year.  Pathetic.  I spoke with a lady who has a son who is friends with one of the younger SJU coaches (I know ..... a lady who has a son who has a cousin who is a friend of a coach...) and the coach basically affirmed what I have believed and what has been obvious all year long -- that SJU has no O-line.  He basically said that the RB's are great and the QB's are very good too -- all 3 of them.  He basically said that they could put the ball where they wanted to but that they had no time at all.  He indicated that the RB's have no blocking at all, too.  We've been seeing this all year but it is good to hear that a coach evidently acknowledges it.   It's important to focus on skill players but the coaching staff needs to be sure that it is getting talent on the line too.

And guess who is going to make an appearance today in a town named Beaver? Sarah Palin!!!! I kid you not. Where is Paris Hilton when we need her?
