And guess who is going to make an appearance today in a town named Beaver? Sarah Palin!!!! I kid you not. Where is Paris Hilton when we need her?

She's busy campaigning as well.  ;D

Seems late in the week and no one is talking about football.  Are people so concerned about their teams games that they don't want to banter back and forth with the opposition?

Hamline played both Bethel and Augsburg close, is Saturday the day they come thru?

Are the Tommies PO'd enough about last week to take it out on the Knights?

Will the Ole's revert back to their ole ways and play with a chip on their shoulders? (maybe personal fouls were not so bad)

Maybe even GAC suprises everyone and wins two big ones in a row.

This weekend could see big changes in the MIAC race.

It would definately be nice if the Pipers could pull the upset this weekend.  Hopefully the Knights can bounce back from a tough loss last weekend and start a new win streak against the Tommies.  Should be a good game.  The Tommies haven't switched to a spread offense yet have they?  Seems like that is the achilles heel of the knights D.

Question, If the SJU O line is it's main weakness, why not go spread offense like so many other college teams do. 4 and 5 wide outs, and in the shotgun makes protecting the qb much easier.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

They've run out of the shotgun quite a bit.  It doesn't help.

From Frank's blog:

QuoteAlso sophomore Joe Boyle is getting most of the reps with the first-team offense, so I'd expect he will start Saturday.

I can't believe SJU's 8 games into the season and still shuffling QBs around.  That's got to be hell on those QBs' self esteem and confidence.

Miss Teen Louisiana loses crown after bust.

She lost that bust?  Now that's the real crime.

You are not thinking of a repete of 2004 are you?  I have confidence we win out.  The conference leaders and ultimate winner, of the MIAC, will be playing with the pressure of knowing the Johnnies never give up; or at least they should be.

I had been waiting all week for that question.  Well, all morning as I shipped my computer on Monday.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

No offense intended, but so what?  There is nothing more to be said.  It's close, more due to falling back to the mean rather than a rising tide.  Babes and catfish tend to draw more attention in that scenario.  To show what I mean:

GAC v AUG:  GAC probably encountered a little better than mediocre CAR off the boil rather than found new form.  AUG got whipped like a two-bit pack horse and are now very suspect (and still must face SJU & BU).  Game significance to the race: meh.

STO v SJU:  That special leader demonstrated the same spirit he has for years and left the team hanging.  I feel guilty ragging on those boys with their dreams already spat on by their former inspiration.  If SJU don't stomp STO then... well it will suck.  Game significance to the race: meh.

HAM v CC:  Will CC hammer the poor HAMs by 50?  Game significance to the race: meh.

USTD v CAR:  If CAR are the real deal, then they have to win.  But losing to the Gusties?  That was lame.  And who wants to say anything about the Tommies?  Their "supporters" don't.  They were here for 2 1/2 days and now they are gone.  Game significance to the race: High, but CAR may be pretenders, not contenders.  Tommies' year is over, so meh.

So there you go, only one game really matters and the fear is that the smarties can't hack it and the "social" diseases may pick up the W.

Beer girls, anyone?

Just because it's Thursday and one can never have too much of German beer girls...

Screw Mexican beer........German beer (and accessories) is now numero uno in my book.

CobberFvr

Beer is good...and stuff.

Heard that song on XM the other day on ch 48 the Squizz...most annoying song of all time. I'd rather listen to the badger badger song than the beer song by psychostick.
