This looks to be a very promising new site run by one of the Cobber faithful.  I'll jump on the Cobbler bandwagon when SJU has been eliminated.  As for right now, I'm still hoping for two losses for them, though that hope is growing more dim.  I'll be with them should they win it though.  As for this off weekend, I'll be on either the Wartburg or Luther bandwagons down in Waverly.  That should be a good game with playoff implications and I am interested to see how good the IIAC is this year compared to Central last year.  One does not usually see Luther at the top of the IIAC standings which makes things even more interesting.

Well its nice to hear that chewy.  I understand ur dedication and hopefullness for SJU, although it does look grim...... but who ever ends-up taking the MIAC should have all of our support, for they represent our division in the post-season.  CobberNation bandwagon is starting to load up :)  hop on!

If they do win out, I'll jump on gladly.  Heck, I'd probably even be open to wearing a Cord ring .... just fair warning.  It seems as though they can pass decently when they want to or need to.

esq;

You already know we all love your "road to the MIAC championship" series of articles at johnniefootball.com.  Can I make a request?  Maybe a supplement of "road to the second pick into the post season" section?

WIAC is this close to having a two loss second team.  IIAC already does.  Same with the NWC.  SCIAC not yet (could they qualify two?).

(EDIT:  and All, I didn't want to turn this into the NWC board, so please forgive my indulgence.  Six months until I pop-off again, as that seems to be about the pattern for these outbursts of mine.)

Good idea-- I was actually thinking of doing a West region recap to it anyway, especially after a discussion I had with Zip late last week.    But I will put an accountant visor on and start crunching some beans to see if the numbers work in the Johnnies' or even the MIAC's favor at this point.

My gut feeling is that UWW losing hurt, but Williamette's win helped.  I think the NCAA will be very hesitant to put two SCIACs in given their playoff history...but that is just off the top of my head.

Esq,
We are going to need something in this 'Bye Week" as the natives are getting a bit restless  ;)

Check seakrit....

Excellent....as per usual.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

There is some misunderstanding about the MIAC Bandwagon.  It was pulled out of the back of TC's garage as a secret weapon.

It was first driven to Augsburg.  Since it's arrival on their campus, they have lost three straight.

Since the first of those losses was to Carleton and they were the lone undefeated team after that victory, the bandwagon moved on the next week to Carleton.  They also have been seduced by the lure of the bandwagon and have dropped their last two games.

After the first loss by Carleton the bandwagon was re-directed to Concordia.  This may have been a bit premature since the bandwagon was only able to produce a near loss to Hamline in it's first outing.

But we'll have to see.  The official owner of the bandwagon is TC and the chief of operations is The White Silly.  They will need to agree, if and when the bandwagon will ever move to Collegeville.  But for now, I think it's safe to say it's still firmly parked in Moorhead.

I'm doing my best, Shoulda.  I've ruined the seasons of three teams and got the worst team in the MIAC to have the best in the conference on the ropes until the last minute.  With a little luck, I'd have the entire MIAC at or below .500 by season's end.

Knight season is not ruined yet.  Still firmly on this bandwagon... 2 losses by a combined 3 points on last second plays of the game.  2 plays away from being a top 15 team in the nation.

Hamline... DEAD
Cobbers... DEAD
St JOHNS... DEAD for the first time ever....

A little help from Bethel or Augsburg beating St. Thomas.... DEAD...
A little help with someone beating Gustavus... DEAD...

I think it's gonna be tough getting anyone on this bandwagon... Since it requires 5 other miac teams to lose, but hey why not!

Thanks for the plug. Hopefully people will start trickling over and registering...pretty barren at the moment. BUT, there was a Linfield fan who registered before anyone else.

I must say...it was pretty depressing to wake up to all this frost this morning. Don't get me wrong, I like winter, but it just doesn't seem fitting yet.  :-\

As odd as this may sound; the two losses and two plays keeping the Knights out of the Top 15 pales in comparison to the two losses and two plays that are keeping SJU out of the Top 4/5 :( :(

As odd as THIS may sound, the same 2 plays/2 losses theory is why Cord isnt unbeaten and in the top 10, and UST isnt unbeaten and in top 10... that's the heartbreak of a balanced conference, I guess

Same as how Concordia was literally 2 plays away from being 9-1 last year instead of 7-3.

Hey, take out the position of 2nd base in baseball and Joe Mauer hits .750 this year.  I'm actually starting to lean towards the Cobb Wagon....TC are you on it?
