Always nice to retain my judicial position after yesterday's election! Out of thirteen seats in our judicial district, I was fortunate enough to get the second highest number of votes. There was only one contested election in our district which was won by the incumbent judge.

Hopefully the Johnnie connection, the Stiftungsfestivities, writing for The Guillotine, ties to amateur "town team" baseball and the endorsement I got from Paris Hilton  ;) made it happen.

You carried the Hutchinson vote I'm sure. So, short story. My hand is cramping from voting for all of the million judges on the back side of my ballot. Like Mike said, most of them uncontested. I'm about to leave them blank until I see Mike Fahey. That really kept me going when things were looking a little bleak in me finishing my ballot.

Congrats JR!

As again, Congratulations, Your Honor.

Also, congratulations to Gail Chang Bohr, wife of CSB/SJU professor P. Richard Bohr, who won the judicial seat in the Second Judicial District yesterday.

Congratulations, JJR.  I would have voted for you if I could.  I hope the judge who got the most votes wasn't a Tommie. 8)

So, the defense against Auggie Tech's offense...  I figure success will be in the pass rush.

And do you all think that the Johnnie O has managed to get organized?  Could this week break 30 points against an increasingly weak looking AT defense?

Inquiring minds want to know.

(And congratulations, JJR.  Keep putting the crims in the big house.)

Well, this creates an interesting situation if SJU and Concordia both win out, doesn't it?  In such case, Concordia would go to the playoffs even though SJU is ranked above them.

SJU could certainly be helped if either Whitewater, Stevens Point or Redlands lose ...and the Jays need to cheer for {cough} the Tommies {cough} to {gulp} upset {gulp} Northwestern as extra insurance.

LAB,

Are you coming to SJU this Saturday? We would love to banter with you at the tailgate party once again.  :)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Congrats, JJR! It's good to see that your Rock the Vote efforts payed off. Did you serve stiftgunfest burgers at the re-election party again? Was the governor's wife in attendance this time? ;)

Congrats again!

Dutchfan1, I did not have a post election party yet. I may pass on that this year and save the money for 2014 when I will be up for re-election again. That is assuming that I don't get appointed to the United States Supreme Court by our new president in the interim. ;)

Suppose I should mention that my brother J.P., who is also a Johnnie, was elected the mayor of Norwood Young America yesterday. Hopefully I can talk him into moving the Stiftungsfest celebration to Collegeville next summer for the event of a lifetime in Stearns County. :D

Willy Wonka

I'll try my hand at some Johnnie/Auggie chatter since we all recognize the Gusties are going to triple stomp the Oles...

SJU enters averaging just 21.1 PPG. Ausburg is allowing a league-worst 27.9 PPG.
SJU allows a league-best 11.4 PPG. Ausburg scores a league-best 33.0 PPG.
Augsburg has the best pass offense in the league. SJU has the best pass defense.

Augsburg has allowed almost 800 yards rushing in the last two weeks and has allowed a league-worst 18 rushing touchdowns. SJU is averaging a third-worst 111 YPG rushing with a second-worst 10 rushing touchdowns.

Should be interesting...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Will the Tommies have enough to play for or will they purposely lose to the Eagles as pay back to the Johnnies....  :o

They gotta play, would be a horrible step back for a rebuilding program to lose to the likes of Northwestern.
