Just stopped by the local liquor store and picked up a Terdy Pk of Hamm's for that special someone. Hope he is there on Saturday to indulge in its many virtues. Otherwise, the Little Wiener Doggie and myself will be attacking it with precision....Oh wait, I just saw that LWD/Veek was talking some smack to me last night.

Sidenote: Rumour has it that #13 will be getting the start at DE on Saturday. Looking forward to many "Snot Rocket" hits and blowing up the short bubble screens from Auggie Tech. Wish that LAB would weigh in with his prediction/analysis.

Go ahead and bring whatever you want to the game on Saturday with the understanding that your debt to me for your ill-advised Delmon bet will not be absolved until you actually deliver the payment to me personally. Or alternatively, I will accept UPS overnight delivery ala GHC.

A question on the regional rankings: which of the 1 loss teams can lose and stay ahead of the Johnnies?

Whitewater will probably stay ahead until they drop three games. Will Redlands drop below us? What about UWSP with only 5 regional games? Northwestern will drop if there is any decency left in the world.

UWSP would probably drop below SJU with another loss because if the records are similar then that common opponent will be much more significant.

It's slower than a Kiwi on his way to the jobs office around here. So I'll take the opportunity of livening things up and break a previous pledge of no more Aussie Rules posts this season.

With nothing else going on, here is a video highlight of this year's Grand Final, featuring of course the mighty fighting Hawks. This guy put quite a bit of effort into the production.

So, as we head into play this weekend, SJU needs to win out and have CC lose.
Or it seems that if UWSP loses, that helps SJU.
Also, it would seem that a loss by North Central to Augustana might help the West get another team in, as everyone seems to think right now North Central would be place into the West bracket.
What wacky football will we see/hear this weekend?

Well the interstate from Beach, ND to Jamestown ND is closed. So it appears it's headed this way. Currently 34* outside and cloudy. Rained ALL day yesterday.
